Your point is the point a lot of guys make; who realize that about 90% of these pros are doped. Sir, are you literate? Lance produced a 460 watt VO2 max SHORTLY before producing a 600 watt VO2 max in the Tour de France. There is no way Lance could gain more than 5% power that highly trained for 15 years. He could have MABY gotten it up to 470-490 without blood doping. And he might have even been slightly doped when he TOOK that test. That is a HUGE difference. He would do 50+ minutes on Alp d'Huez undoped. That 38:30 in 2001 clearly belong to the anti-anemia industry.

You are misusing this data in your meaningless calculations. There are many other factors that can influence FTP. Things like pedalling efficiency, musculoskeletal structures. I don't believe his V02 max power output was 460 watts. I saw a guy being tested who put out close to that with a VO2 max of 68. FTP depends on your LTVO2. Robert de Castella, an Australian marathon runner had an LTVO2 of 90%. This isn't that exceptional, and given LA's phenomenal lactate usage he would surely be higher.

Can you please post a link as to your sources for Greg LeMond's FTP? I would be interested to see that. Also, EPO actually hit the Tour in 1988, before LeMond won in 1989 and 1990. I Need to put it out there that O'Grady tested a 91,that was jacked for sure. No cyclist has tested above 92.Some Nordic Skier tested a 96 using his whole body. The very fact that he won Paris-Roubaix solo at the end of a 6hr effort shows an extremely high FTP power, but he is a heavier man than Pharmstrong and it is FTP/kilo that wins Grand Tours. I was talking about his undoped VO2 of 82. And that was in his prior youthful past. Now its likely more like 78. His undoped FTP would be no more that 370-380 tops in top form(unjacked). I doubt he'd be at more than 340 right now if he was at his normal heamotocrit of 41%.

The main problem is that we showed up rather late for both wars, particularly in WW2 which was exponentially worse. We should have mobilized while the French army and British expeditionary forces were withdrawing from Dunkirk. Providing food and arms to Britain was nice but not really enough. Consider that while the Germans bombed the hell out of London, the U.S. still did not declare war. So it is rather callous to claim we saved them. We came only when we were forced by the axis.

Nice to post this. Sometimes its actually to loud in the beginning of the flight to hear it on the plane. ( especially if near the wing by the jets.)

why dont they make one where its just english and another one in french? swiss does that and they save time instead of like air france where they just make a long one... i dont speak french but i translated my comment/dont je parle français mais je traduit mon commentaire: pourquoi ils me faire une juste où son anglais et une autre en français? suisse et qui ne leur fait gagner du temps comme lieu de Air France où ils ont juste faire une longue ...

Contrairement à celles de beaucoup de compagnies aériennes, je trouve cette vidéo très efficace : légère, simple, agréable. J'adore la musique, c'est "so frenchy" Vive AF !
