Well, thanks for the kind words, but the Bible also says "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful" in Psalms 1:1. We need to witness to people like this, not hang out w/ them, nor use them in gospel songs when they are being "ungodly". I am not judging anyone, I'm simply stating the facts. Im sure clarkson's version doesnt even come close not that ive seen it, and probably dont have to but i may dig it. She does have a good voice. But hey immitation is the best form of flattery imo, whatever keeps the music alive i say otherwise it's gonna fade away quicker than the tally of new band's appearing in which we find no real connection with at ALL. This was 2 days after my Phillies won the World Series...I was at the W.S. game with my Dad...but only 11 yrs. old...too young for the concert...My 1st show was @ 3 Rivers in Pitts. during their 25th Anniv. Tour 1989 or 1990 I believe...it was the greatest experience of my life at that time...best bunch of people I'd ever been around...you know now that I think of it I'm pretty sure about a week later the keyboardist was found dead,can't remember his name remember his face He had beard-help me!

Ah yes, the Golden Age of Soul and R&B. =D Truly, such beautiful vocals on this song. And yes, "Day Dreaming" is sung beautifully as well - classy yet profound. I also like her rendition of "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing" - such Gospel infused, spine-tingling vocal performance. I must agree with you on this one. Her vocal is sublime on this song. (Too, this is a great bit of what I'll call "gut bucket' R&B songwriting. That is, the raw, highly emotive R&B we saw from James Brown, Ray Charles, Etta James and Sam Cooke among others. That is, when "Pop" radio allowed that more edgy sound to get onto the radio.)This vocal, I think, paved the way for Whitney and not a few of Patti's later successes. It's just gorgeous! Personally, I've always thought that Ain't No Way is by far, her best vocal moment caught on record. Sure she had higher & more powerful songs, but it's just that this song was sung so real, so graceful, light - yet soulfully packed. Not to mention she included some pretty difficult notes and moments to reach and give justice to - even for seasoned (and extremely gifted) vocalists such as Whitney Houston or Patti LaBelle (both I also love & respect). damn you're clueless, you don't know anything about MMA, or weight lifting. as a mixed martial artist (Rich), going on for 1 hour with low weight high rep is best. It REALLY trains your muscles so you can work for longer (5 x 5 minute rounds for example) and it also improves your conditioning. Now if he went only for power lifting, he would only be strong, but his muscles wouldn't be trained to work for so long. I hope you understand ;)
