Don't get me wrong though. I know there are bands that deserve more attention like the ones i listed, but that's just the way it is for that genre. Power Metal and Prog-Power just isn't popular enough in the U.S.. Unfortunately, I don't think it ever will be =/ Most people in the U.S. enjoy listening to lame bands such as Linkin Park, Brittney Spears, Jonas Brothers, or Disturbed...I was about to list Killswitch Engage, but the vocalist can really sing. MetalCore/HardcoreMetal is pop. in the U.S

To be honest, Dragonforce is the only band that has been able to successfully attract more people than any other POWER band to date. They do mess around a lot, but that just proves that they like to have fun. I know there are better bands such as Edguy, Kamelot, Lost Horizon, Galneryus, Stratovarius, and Dark Moor, but why do you think they're not as famous as Dragonforce?

I don't like Dragonforce but recently I sat through a set (to see the other bands playing) and they can play their sweeps atleast, but they would be alot better if they didn't dick around and get drunk every set. Because they did get sloppy as the set progressed but you could tell they where drunk.

Maybe I'm not picking the best 1st song to hear, but musically I can say it's really solid. As for his singing, it's not that it's bad, because it's not. It's just that it seems to only cover a few notes. I guess I was hoping for a larger range. Something more like a Geoff Tate of Queensryche range. Which isn't to say I dislike this band, I'll try some more, because for being 'live' I think they did a HELL of a lot better than most bands do in the studio.

The only thing that I prefer in the live version rather than the album version is the Syu's extended end solo. Simply AMAZING. Other than that, live is just as exceptional as the album version.

Yama sings his greatest in this song! I don't know why, but I love his vocals, and this song is where he shows it the best! Especially when he stretches out at the end of the chorus, that just gives me goosebumps.

Galneryus actually has songs taht sound like real poems. anyone that takes their songs and uses it in an English class as one of their own poems will get an A+ for sure. ...Are you fucking retarded? Syu's accent is THICKER than Yama B's and as for "improving his voice", his singing is fucking flawless. He has range, power, strong vibrato... Even his accent isn't bad in the least by the standards of most Japanese vocalists, he doesn't have much trouble with his L's either. Syu is a great singer, but Yama B has him beat in almost every respect.
