Er.. nao soa tao bem como doing. A única coisa que lá falta é"it" "I'm doing IT" for.. something. E o teu exemplo nao faz muito sentido. ah,..espera, acho que já percebi o teu erro. Tu estás é a traduzir mal de ingles para portugues. O que eles querem dizer é que estao a fazer "seja o que for" por amor/todos á nossa volta, etc. e nao que estao a fazer por algo... o sentido no final vai dar ao mesmo, mas a construcao é bem diferente.

É uma crítica construtiva: em vez de «i'm doing» (estou a fazer por...) podia ser «thriving», «struggling», algo assim... nunca «doing». Comparativamente para tuga seria algo como «estás à nora» para «you're at your daughter-in-law»

it wasn't that they were underrated. they had many hits and were quite popular. i agree with sewerPoet10 that they were just no match for the grunge and hard rock that was dominating at that time. INXS just disappeared (slowly) from the spotlight like many fantastic 80's bands.

As much as I liked some of the grunge in the early 90's, it seems impossible to me that this album (full moon, dirty hearts) and "Welcome to Wherever You Are" were essentially ignored. There are some fantastic songs on both cd's, including this one. Very few bands can rock like these guys, with their precision, songwriting skills, live act, and then write tender, beautiful ballads. Michael (R.I.P.) was much underrated as a lyricist. If you've never heard these albums beg, steal or borrow them.

I saw him with Staind,and Papa Roach on November 16th up here in Massachusetts I will simply state he was absolutely incredible I could have listened to him all evening. Loved him-- will definitely see him again.. He did Layne Staley's Nutshell, needless to say the crowd went crazy, just the mere mention of Layne; and his cover of Nutshell was phenomenal. i'm so glad bands like this get recording contracts. i would die without half the bands i listen to. that's why it pisses me off when people like fucking ashlee simpson get deals, who can't even perform live, in like a month. but bands like seether and three days grace, breaking benjamin, have to bust ass for like 14 years to even be CONSIDERED being signed. it's really unfair.
