When a saiyan powers up to this extent yellow streaks like that it means that they are reaching the point of becoming a super saiyan.. And goku is in a kaioken state but not completely and besides goku had enough power to maintain kaioken at this extent.. And the same happend when vegeta was powering up to frieza the yellow streaks so vegeta was also reaching the point of super saiyan.. But frieza killed him before he ever got the chance..

Gohan was hinted pretty much all his life to have held some inner power. Some of it was released on namek. Anyways, Gohan initially injured Raditz when he was like what, 5? Gohans had a lot more moments like that when he gets pissed off, such as Freiza i think it was 1-3 times. I remember just seeing a video of Gohan beating the shit out of final form frieza. Then Gohan went through brutal training with his dad, and unleashed a perm-state SS. Gohans final straw, 16s death.Makes sense to me.

I know a CHEAT to be invulnerable. When an enemy is about to blast you, fly into the air. You'll get hit, but you'll still here the "fly" sound and the game will still think you're in the air. Pretty awesome, really.

This is some really funny stuff, even if it is old. I totally forgot how amazingly corny the Ginyu Force was, since I have not seen these episodes since they stopped showing the Ocean dub in the states and switched to Funi. And yes, I must agree: Frieza was totally dumbfounded on what to say/do in the face of such manic antics. Probably the most funny moment of the Frieza Saga, imo. Most likely stronger than whoever takes their body. Anyone stronger than the Ogres should be able to retain their body and Vegeta never lost his body in Canon. If we could see Raditz (who is weaker than the Ogres) it would be easier.

You forgot to mention that Kaioken works exactly like spirit bomb. But rather than drawing in energy to form a attack, it allows your body to absorb and increase your power. The reason why it causes alot of strain because you are using more energy than your body can originally give off.

Basically it amplifies one's power and speed by the amount they intend to use. So in this time, Goku's power and speed are three times higher than what they normally would be due to him using Kaio-Ken x3. It's basically a power up technique. The drawback is that it demands a lot of energy and can strain the body greatly if overused and if the user's body isn't used to that amount of power.

Yes, that's what I've been saying. Book 34 has Gokuu only using the Kaiou-ken, and at the end, Bejiita kicks Gokuu in the face, causing him to fly backwards. At the bottom of the page has "Kaiou-ken x2" as coming in the next chapter. Book 35 opens up with Gokuu and Bejiita floating in the air in the same position they were in at the end of book 34, with a narrator box in the upper left hand corner. In there, it has the narrator saying that the Kaiou-ken doubled Gokuu's battle power.

The omniscient narrator (written by Akira Toriyama) who clearly indicates that the Kaiou-ken 1x is a battle power doubler, or Gokuu (also written by Akira Toriyama) whose statement can simply be read as "I couldn't keep up with the Kaiou-ken 2x" which would be the same meaning as "Twice the Kaiou-ken".
