ok, the first move is the chris brown run it move, which is a gliding motion. 2nd move is a moonwalk, which has a gliding motion. 3rd is my style of the running man, another gliding motion, 4th, is circular gliding, then last is what I call an usher glide which is called a side glide. If all these were moonwalks, then show me what gliding really is then.

What a disappointing video. This is not at all the visual I get when listening to this song. Mine is slightly tainted from having seen the movie, but still, the word "glide" makes me think of something at least with movement, flying in the sun, not an inanimate girl singing in dark rooms. I mean, I understand that it's showing the sorrow and longing, but I'd rather at least glimpse the ideal.

IIRC, you didn't get airplay on BFBS or German radio. AFN played the USA top 40, or in the case of AFN Bremerhaven what the DJ's liked or thought was avant-garde at the time. WHEB, Radio 103,here in Manch., NH plays this song periodically as what they call "TRUE" or "REAL" Rock. Great that U guys are Canucks as well!!! Haven't heard much from other Canucks like Cory Hart, Bryan Adams or Chilliwack, etc. Celine Dion, even though I'm a GORF, isn't my cuppa.

Just breaking down some aspects of popping/dancing that was hard for me@first. Check it out i hope it helps i got some on strobbing, ticking, chest pops, strobe gliding, and waves.

dpawkng, Hang Gliding is a breathe taking way to fly. It is easy enough to control (if you can jog with 70 lbs on your shoulders, you can hang glide). I recommend taking a quick class on Hang Gliding, you can either do tandem or solo; I went solo.

What is it with these people who have 2 hv tabs and sheets for everything? Funk is all ears and feel. If they can't learn funk by ear then they probably need to go into classical or Broadway. Don't get me wrong. Im a total advocate for learning music theory and reading music notation though, Im very anti-tabs. But there's only one way to learn funk: put the needle back (or hit rewind) and play it again till you get it right. Or back this video up and have another go. Go, DK!!

I heard this song on the radio yesterdy hear in DC for the first time since back in the day. I don't play bass, but know everything about the instrument. I had forgotten the group, but Slave first came to mind because of the funky bass style of Slave's bass player. Also, Steve Washington's style here is very influnced by Louis Johnson of the Brother's Johnson on this song. This song brings back great memories.

and cost. And what I meant by dying, is I see so many pilots choosing PG over HG, and even some die hard HG pilots making the change. In the ideal world, we would all own a paraglider, hang glider, airchair, and live on a mountain to fly them off of. Free flight is free flight, it doesn't get any better, who cares what you fly under?

I didn't mean to put it down at all. I just see alot more pilots entering into PG. Hell, I was all set on HG, and then I really started to look into PG, and the performance decrease, and limitations of the style of wing, are certainly compromises. But I love throwing my 24 pound bag on my back, and being able to travel with it in the overhead bin of an airliner. And I would have to agree, HG are better as far as flying, but I made that sacrafice for the ease of flight, size, transport issues

silly thing to say really you dont buy a car because it fits in your garage and realy all the flying sites i know you land pack up right next to your car so your point is kind of mute. as for flying like the other guy said they are differences like salt and vinigar or cheese and onion i like both speed control manouvarability aircraft handling hang gliding. floating pricise unpradictable fun running on the tops of trees paragliding i say do both :)

Dying sport its nearly dead! I Know in the uk its picking back up and im heading to costallucio in italy to get my hang gliding certificate in may for 2 weeks. Paragliding is more practical as you can pack it in a car boot, hang glider is long lengthy and have to have roof rack etc.
