while drilling ice core samples plant dna was found. in other words, temperatures have been MUCH warming than they are now in times past. the IPCC report says that even if the ice caps melt a total rise of 10-23 INCHES may occur. not the 20 feet rise in Al Gore's video. so the 'ice on land' argument is bunk. cool demo. thanks for the video.

WHAT A FUCKING VIDEO!! of course: if the ICE THAT IS ALREADY FLOATING ON THE SEA melts, the sea level doesn't rise but if the ICE THAT IS ON THE LAND, like glaciers, melt going into the sea, the sea level raises a lot!! have you seen what happens when he puts the ice in the glass?? you should measure the original level and then the level of the water after you have put the ice, and then compare them: THE RESULT IS THAT THE LEVEL HAS RAISED!!!

Well, I really hate compacting issues. I for one don't think industrialization drove weather changes. I do think science is advanced to the point of weather manipulation (seeding clouds/reflective particulate aerosoles etc.) Gravity - very strong stuff right, keeps all our feet on the ground and makes life possible on the planet. Take a small magnet over metal the strength of gravity defyed. Humm - I think electro-magnetic pull not gravitational force - just a theory.

Obviously the real polar ice caps have a proportion that's above the surface of the ocean, which will add to the volume of water if it melts into the sea. This video is dumb. 1. Measure the water level before the ice goes in, that would simulate the ice on land going into the water i.e. Greenland and Antarctica. As it stands u are measuring only ice already displacing the water. This is bad modeling. 2. Rising sea levels in one outcome of global warming and not necessarily the worst one. I think it's great that every slackjaw can wade in to a debate on YouTube with evidence that would get them a failing grade at high school btw. :D

The government is the best way to protect the people of our country. When deregulation and other conservative economic policies, the wages of executives and other high end jobs grow, and all the other wages don't. When more liberal policies are placed, the lower end incomes grow. I believe that this shows the government can protect the people from unruly execs. (Liberal policies include regulation and labor laws in my definition). I do agree with Ron Paul on foreign policy and civil liberties.

The election system needs to be reformed in order for people like Dr. Keyes to get in office. I think we should drop the nomination system and winner takes all executive elections. Agreed. As Joseph Farah related, "None of the Above." I will be writing in Dr. Keyes myself. Frankly, I was quite disappointed that the CP didn't nominate him. I looked into the record of Rev. Baldwin and although he seems to be a man of character, he doesn't have near the qualifications in my view needed for the presidency (Executive experience, foreign policy experience, military background, etc.). I have left the Republican Party since there are so few conservatives left in it. I am protesting this fact with my vote on Nov 4 when I pull the lever for Dr. Keyes. This man is a true statesman, scholar, and leader. It saddens me that everyone I talk to, almost without exception, knows little about him. Constructive parents are the best teachers. School is for babby sitting kids IMHO. The best education parents can possably get is to teach thier own kids. If kids have confedance and are not taught to hate learning, they can teach them selves anything they need to learn. Even if a teacher has good intentions, they still have to do it the way thier employer (The goverment) wants it done. or they'll be out of a job. I notice that programms that make good progress with kids get thier funding cut.

I home schooled my self and did grades 1-12 in 3 years. Why does the school take 12 years and still manage to turn out illiterate kids? I found no point in reading see spot run, but when some one read greek methodology I taught my self to read. My parents did not help me either because they where to busy with drugs. I guess the system managead to teach them they where worthless PS my dad went to millitary school my mom an orphanage, both were government raised.
