The SF-ish content of the movie might disappoint a great number of viewers, but the feelings that this film induces you are simply breathtaking. I is a well built drama which follows the life of a well intended, but misunderstood man. Watch it, especially if you like deep movies, and not action-tipe.

The literal content of the movie might throw ya off but the underlying meaning is simple and beautiful. The cinematography tells you it has to do with life because in the end you see all these bright beautiful colors. We are shown earthlike colors. the wilderness, etc. etc. = life. To me it wasn't about time travel. And sadly a lot of people thought that's what it was about lol. The story is not Back To The Future. heh. Hope that helps somewhat. I've watched this movie like 8 times now at least

it's mainly about life and death and how no matter how rough things are, they are better alive than dead because while you are alive, you can change anything in life. I thought it's interesting the end when she says "How much time do we have?" and then the song "We Have all the time in the world" kicks in. The End. Ties it all together perfectly.

i think the jacket was...a very good movie...it didnt make sense at first...but each time i watched it..which was every so often..i understood more..and i liked the movie..genius...and im 15...so yeah...it took me more than one viewing to understand it..lol

Suzanna221, The guy shooting the officer has to do nothing with the film, except for the fact that his "running-away" from the scene of the crime and leaving the gun by the "blacked-out" Jack Starks, makes the court believe that he killed the police officer and because he, suffering from amnesia, couldn't remember anything, he was declared innocent and was sent to the psyiatrische clinic for mentally sick people. It's not horror, there aren't scary parts at all. But it's a very well written movie, with a great story and brilliant acting. Around the middle, you fully understand the plotline. Very thrilling movie. 5*

Love the band, love the album. You know how there are certain bands that just have that passion for music and you can see it in their shows and hear it in thier music. My Morning Jacket is one of those bands (along with Porcupine Tree). Listen to them and you know that they are in it for the love of music and performing and not in it for the money. This is the way rock and roll was meant to be, real heart, not some corporate entity pumping out cookie cutter commercialism, but honest passion!

Amazing new album! I've seen hundreds of band playing live, but there is no band like MMY, they are live even better then on the record. Jim James played some songs for me and three more guys in our local record store some years ago... it was amazing.

Agreed with jenbaby and pavement, this band is one of the most talented and consistent of our generation. What they did with EI was trying to obtain a certain variety, which at this point in a band's career is badly needed. Like radiohead did successfully with Kid A, a band needs to reinvent itself in order to maintain creativity and quality

Look at 0:10-0:19. I think it's one of the best scenes in the movie. He's excited and energized over his first kill, and then he realizes that he really DID just kill two people, end two lives. He just realized the reality of his actions and the reality of war.
