To me, Ryuichi Sakamoto is not afraid of attempts of creating rhythms, harmony, and flow of the music. His works, experiments are just simply amazing. The most amazing thing about his music is that it makes me think about what drove him to write this song. "Koko" is such an excellent piece and It's really hard to get it out of my head.

kyllä, mutta eivät tarpeeksi paljon suhteutettuna vaikkapa duunarin veropottiin. Esim. jos duunari tienaa 2000e/kk, niin siitä menee kuukaudessa 450e veroja, eli melkein neljäs-osa menee veroihin, niin eikö se nyt olisi kohtuullista silloin, että rikas maksaisi omasta potistaan myös tuon neljänneksensä pois! Etenkin kun saavat niitä tuulen tuomia voittoja vielä päälle + että niillä vielä on pörssissä salkku /salkkuja joista ne ei taas maksa veroa ollenkaan!

Oh yea, I'm no farther than the first chorus tho, at a rediculously slow tempo. Hmm. Concerning Trane. Rhythm Changes, Blues, at least 50 Standards memorized before you even LOOK at Giant Steps LOL. Coltrane took Bop to the harmonic breaking point but only after he MASTERED everything prior to that that Bebop brought in. When you get what came before. Giant Steps will show itself rather than you *learning* how to solo over that progression. Trane heard it first. Bird heard it first.

The genius of Bird was that he could think so logically at these tempos. I'm learning this solo now on Alto, and it's clear to hear the logic in his playing. Phrases weren't *filler* for bars racing by. Everything meant something. If there's one thing a musician can learn from Bird, is to have a deep bag or well of ideas to draw from. He often repeated himself, but his bag of ideas was so flexible that one idea could spark new ideas to last chorus after chorus.
