I'm of the opinion that this presser was a major turning point for OSU football, because anyone that sees this who goes to play for Coach Gundy knows that man has his players' backs. There is NO way Judas Lieberman would be re-elected in Conn if he began voting w/ GOP 90% of the time, so he would still have to vote with Dems regardless if he is booted from the party or not. So you get the best of both worlds, you punish JL's incompetence and betrayal, and he still has to vote with you if he wants to keep his cushy job as a senator. isn't part of the change that america voted for about changing the nature of bipartisan politics? personally, i didn't vote solely for a change from republican to democratic politics (as markos assumes). i *hope* i voted for something more fundamental. i'm not saying i liked lieberman's choices this fall, but i think there needs to be more room for seeing past the red and blue colors we cloak our politics in... i think acts like this show that obama is carrying through his change message.

No, I feel that PE Obama's victory was the result of an extremely well run campaign that capitalized on his charisma and speaking ability. Bravo to them, and I say that without a hint of sarcasm.
