Like it says in the Offical protoss gameplay video, they are still working on balance, thats why one of the reasons why they are taking so long to release SC2... and you must understand, the mothership probably isn't a cheap unit, maybe 1000+ mins and 1000+ gas, and I hear rumors that you can only have one at a time, so it does have its drawbacks... I would have also liked to be able to use limited ammunition supplies in HWII. Such as fighters being able to make a couple of bombing runs on capitol ships with heavy weapons before having to return and resupply. I think it would be possible to do that by having a module attachment that took damage each time the heavy weapon was fired, and couldn't fire any more once it reached 0% health. But that was beyond my scripting abilities.

What? The guys who did that (criticized) were idiots! These cutscenes flow so well and beautifuly with the story and everything that even after so many years almost all of them can beat in emotion and power any other cutscene from any game! Nowadays everything tries to be epic and grand but HW cutscenes first try to be emotional but also succed being epic through their story, music, synch and a little thing called artistic impression!

Same complaint from me also. Having to use support frigates or carriers to refuel the fighters in HW1 provided an excellent level of strategy which they sadly removed in HW2. Hitting the enemy on the opposite side of the map with Interceptors just doesnt seem right..
