This technology already exists. Its called OLED and is being used for sony flat screen TV's. Its a screen on a cellular membrane which is able to bend. This video is still a concept, but Nokia is tackling to produce phones with this technology. But it still remains a challenge.

This phone is a disgrace I'm surprised that it was eve actually designed by NOKIA... I have both the original N95 and the N95 8gb, and thier both much more superior then the N96. The processing speed is pathetic, its a downgraded chip of the N95, they removed the 3d chip for gaming, and I don't even bother to see what else they removed. Bottom line N96 is a joke, their lowing production costs and increasing the prize to make a huge profit. If you want a real high end phone, get the INNOV8(I8510)

i brought the phone and like most people they are furious with how badly designed the N96 really is. I just returned my N96 and brought an INNOV 8 by Samsung, it is slim, 8 megapixel camera, and just have about everything preloaded. Just because something is new does not mean it is necessarily better, they downgraded the processor and removed the 3d chip for gaming, you call that an upgrade, more like a downgrade.

Nice phone, got one recently and with the latest firmware is rather smart. Camera is really nice quality, tons of options. Multi-tasking works great, and you can write a text message while having a conversation for instance. With the SD Slot (missing on the 8Gb version) you can pop in a 16gb MicroSD card and be the envy if N95 8GB owners =)

I have one and the GPS charges $0 a month if you don't want the pointless voice commands. the stylist / touch capabilities leave your phone scratched up and and always dirty, keeping your fingers on the buttons and away from the screen is one of the smartest choices nokia has ever made. P.s Iphone and it's advanced (needlessly difficult) features can burn.

it's free with a 2 year contract. i have it. it's nice, just keep it clean and safe. it doesnt take well to drops. i droped it and when i turned it back on i lost my applications folder. like the calc, calender, ect. but it has themes you can get off the internet and alot of cool stuff.

i had this, then a krzr, now a blackberry... that phone feels way clean and works great! the mp3 player is just about the best you can find on a phone like that, but is obviously not close to as good as an iPhone. there is now a newer version of this phone, but wheather you get this one of the new one you will love it.

there's one little problem with this phone, it gets very hot and the back lid is mettalic so you can't hold it in your hand after a long call... BTW, this lid can be used as a self defense weapon... it has a very sharp edge.

it depends on how you use your phone... the e51 is an awesome business phone and has alot of cool gadgets with the package while the W580i is more fit to entertained if youre looking for desing the w580i is better because the e51 its just ugly(to me i dont know what you think) but at the the end i will recomend the e51 more funtions wi'fi, more applications and softwares but if your looking for a more simple goodlooking phone with good applications then buy the w580i

Ditto that. Bought it on a biz trip to Dubai last year, and absolutely love it. Had the E61 before (which was fine) but this baby is tiny and really flat out rocks. Maybe the coolest feature of all for those in the USA is its ability to drive Internet features at high speed off any adjacent LAN WiFi (rather than via your phone carrier company). At well under $300, it's a steal.

This is indeed the best Nokia smartphone... It isn't as big as the N95, but it has all the good stuff in it... Except for the GPS... I still have the E65, but I've had it with the lag in the menu's, I just can't understand why Nokia makes those slow smartphones :S I'm going for the E51 :D

You probably have to do some research beforehand doing any review.. You have to press the button "2" to take photos with auto focus instead.. And the little rectangular show on the screen before the photo was taken has to be green in colour.. That's the signal it is focusing.. UNDERSTAND???
