I can't believe someone else besides my daughter & I question the "clapping @ 5:20"! Every time we saw the Broadway revival, my daughter & I would give each other a peripheral glance at that exact same moment in "Hot Honey Rag" as if we were saying "here it comes..audience applause for rythmically outstretching their arms!" Don't misunderstand,we worship at the altar of Fosse,Verdon,Rivera,Reinking,etc. We couldn't believe the things that wow an audience(it was on cue at every performance)!

I don't think that there will be a dancer born in my lifetime, that is as wonderful as Gwen Verdon. So spot-on precise, yet so relaxed. She was THE BEST I ever saw. And I am 51, and my mother, who is 80, and a former dancer, said she never, in her lifetime, EVER saw any dancer who could match Gwen. And Fosse was the best choreographer EVER, in our opinion. God rest their souls. He is creating dances in Heaven, and Gwen is dancing, and training the other dancers, as she did in life.BRAVO!

idk, i like the movie better, but probably because 1. i saw the movie first 2. it has bigger moves, which are good for ideas when choreographing 3. the songs are shortened & modernized, which is better when choreographing a preformance for the younger dancer & audience 4. the music comes out the speakers smoother when using the movie soundtrack instead of the original its all about what your doing with the media.

I think Guys are becoming alot more feminine nowadays in attempt to be more appealing to women, as for me, i dont really like the colour pink where Guys are concerned but on a woman, Yes! Alot of guys try to take it too far and most end up gay.. Im totally against that "make up for men" thing, and the bags aswell, i think all of that helps contribute to transforming men into gays..I love this video, keep up the work Guys..

Oh you mean there are different standards for gays and for heterosexuals. You mean the same thing if done by gay is feminine and if done by a heterosexual its 'masculine'.
