I'd like to rephrase my previous statements here. What I'd said was that Bee Train seems to keep reusing and recycling the songs from Yuki Kajiura, and casting great Seiyuus, like Houko Kuwashima, and Kotono Mitsuishi. Sometimes they also use Satsuki Yukino and other great, famous Seiyuus too!

I loved this movie and used to watch it on Beta (damn I'm old) but only recently got it on dvd and its every bit as awesome as I remember. Definitely and underrated movie, and absolutely one of the most underrated soundtracks of all time. The music ranks up there with Beverly Hills Cop, Dirty Dancing, and Top Gun, but most people don't even know it exists.

Im in total agreement! These empty bands that try and call their music rock are horrible songwriters. They give their fans pitiful live preformances. And they all handle their thin length of fame as if they were kids (the jonas bros). Total it seems if you have a nice body and face and play a few cords, you can make it big if the right things happen in the right times. (Unlike Queen with freddie, who wasnt the most attractive for girls of the time, along with being gay.)

Saw them in Ottawa yesterday (Nov 15th 2008) where they played at Babylon"s in front of a crowd of about 30 PEOPLE (not kidding folks !). Yet they still gave it all they had to everyone's delight. Never seen a drummer so powerful in all my life ! (It helped that I was standing 3 feet in front of him, I guess :-) My ears are still ringing...

went to a concert recently, and they were one of the first two bands. Some people had their hands over their ears and some were booing. You couldn't hear the guys voice well, which didn't sound that good, and they just kept playing the same thing over and over and then over again except faster which actually made it sound worse.

I'd written back then that I was pretty confident that I'd seen the band at the top of their game. It was a phenomenal experience if you were lucky enough to see it. About two years later, I saw them on the In the Round tour where they brought their own circular stage. It wasn't as cool but still very good. I saw them about two weeks ago opening for Coheed... completely awful. I tried to get my money back, I was so pissed. It sounded terrible, the song choices sucked. Horrendous experience.

I've seen the Secret Machines live four different times. The first time was four years at a Coachella. I saw them twice shortly after that on a tour where they co-headlined a tour with Kings of Leon. All three of these times they were amazing. They had a breathtaking light show put together by a guy who had done work with Phish, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd and, heh, Britney Spears!
