This is my all-time favorite game. If any game has withstood the test of time and had a good time customizing, it's this game. I'm mostly a classic gamer trying to look for classic gems. Because while newer games can be fun, you still don't forget your classics. I even still mod up my Duke Nukem 3D to this day. I still miss playing this on Win95 or Win98 with XP and Vista's complete disregard for DOS (I don't trust DOSBox). Playing JFDuke3D is still a worthy alternative.

Dam glad I got this on XBLA! Back in the days guys didn't mind if you saw women only as sex objects, used steroids and a shotgun was usually the answer to everything, oh and some keycards too. Either way, Duke saved the earth, and took a shit in an alien skull. A breeze from my childhood, this was one of the first games I played really. The gameplay still rocks and Duke's still got "ballz of steel!" lol.

Because making open areas with the Quake2 engine is absolute HELL. What they show here must be everything they had made: the area shown at 1:37 needs over a day to be computed for visibility and lighting on 1998 hardware, while you can do nothing but wait. When the level is compiled you can run it, but if there's a bug you must go back to edit it, compile it and waste another day. And hope Windows won't crash during level compilation, or you'll have wasted all the time you spent waiting!

UT and HalfLife had yet to hit the shelves yet. This was pretty much top of the line. Im not sure why 3drealms kept changing the engine. I´ve spent years to investigate this game,there is no seceret except the official secrets which are listed on the end of each level. And there are hundreds of windows and doors that look accessable but they all nothing but flat setting, it´s an extremely cruel joke that all this wooden doors and glaswindows are indestructable for a man with a grenade launcher, but that´s the logic of most games

hey mac081793 he did not beat this game in 8 minutes, he is showing clips from every level. Well most of them. my best friend and i used to play this game on n64 and it is better then duke nukem 3d, but not by much cause that game was the shit too. but i don't have a copy of the game anymore it was my friends so it's probably impossible to find zero hour even if you wanted to get it now. Still though this game is long but the campaign is action packed! I wish i had bought it from my friend! :(

Duke has gotta be dubbed one of the top 5 video game characters of all time. Also on that list. Turok, Conker (the squirrel),and of course Chief and Arbiter. But Zero hour brings back memories. DN3D as released in 1995 doesn't run under Windows XP, let alone Vista. But...fans wrote what amounts to a patch to add XP and Vista support to DN3D. Fans also redrew everything in the game to far higher quality and added support for hardware graphics acceleration. So you can play DN3D on a PC with XP or Vista and/or play it with vastly improved graphics. Look for eduke32 (to make it work) and the HRP (for the graphics). I still play it sometimes. It's still fun. Come get some!

You see, in the Jace Hall Show, 3D realms blamed it on there own laziness and World of Warcraft addiction. But they have actually been working on it. Jace played a build of DNF and claimed it was amazing. Also, Duke Nukem 3D is 800 Microsoft points ($10) on XBLA and you can order the PC version off the 3D Realms site for the same price. Though, I prefer the XBLA version because of better online play.

This is a home made trailer I made for Duke Nukem 3D using the HRP (High Resolution Pack), a modification made by several guys over at the 3DRealms forum. It's a really impressive piece of work and I highly recommend it for every Duke Nukem fan out there.
For this video, I used the original version of "Grabbag" made by Lee Jackson. I hope you enjoy it!
