This is why these stupid little mini genres shouldn't exist. You've got Slipknot and Rage Against The Machine under the same genre! Are you a fuckin' idiot? They are nothing alike. The only genres there should be are Metal, Rock, Classic Rock, Jazz, Rap, Pop, Classical, and Country (Which sucks almost as much as rap). They were very influential and RATM was i think the first band to base they're whole style on rap and rock/metal( yes i know, there was Walk This Way and Bring The Noise, but they had their whole sound in almost every song like that)

If you're showcasing how its a numetal amp model, maybe try playing some numetal ? Your guitar isn't toned down nearly enough to be numetal. A drop-tuning won't hurt. You're going to need a lot more distortion as well. :)

Bands like Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Underoath, Norma Jean, August Burns Red, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Every Time I Die. Still good bands though.
