I agree. This is a take off of the nunchaku. The sticks being used are not the original size and the dynamics are more for show than for power. Don't give me the new art crap and that these sticks with chord will hurt you, they will. They are not nunchaku and the technique does not generate near the power of a nunchaku. A nunchaku will break a cinder block if used correctly and death or maiming was the intent originally. This is majorette stuff. Give me a thumbs down too for telling the truth.

man you re really doing the nun chucks amazingly. I do nun chucks too but this is awesome. How can you ever do different moves with both arms and hand? I do double chucks too but they have to be in the same move at the same time. Whenever I try to do different move I will lose concentration and even hit myself . Give me some tip maybe:D

Anything is dangerous. How many people in the world can actually successfully use nunchucks as weapons? If you just picked one up you would do more damage to yourself than to the person you were trying to attack. However, there are many LEGAL things you can kill/seriously hurt people with which requre no training at all. A screwdriver for example. Or a hatchet. A chainsaw. E.t.c

If you "figure 8" them in front of yourself the wouldn't have much power at all it would be easy to step through your "guard". If your fighting your nunchaku should be tucked under your arm in the ready position with your other arm out in front you.(unless you have 2 obviously.) You should strike with it then return it to under your arm and get ready for the next attack. Crossovers, transitions, and L strikes all look...

good chuck work, hella speed there. One thing I don't see though is alternating hands, everything is consective with both hands in the same direction, at the same time. Try the alternating chuck triangle alternatively with left and right, right over waist, across, back up, and when that happens at the same time bring left hand down.

Any nunchucks, including the ones you have can hurt people if you know how to use them for that purpose. But I wouldn't recommend for you or anybody else to "hurt people badly". Oh, and yeah, those are good for practicing. Those won't leave those nasty bruises like the wood or metal ones =)

There is such a thing as speed chucks, they're chain chucks with a swivel top, they can float!, but the down side is even the pricy ones get worn out with alot of use. What dude is using is called "swing sticks" . Taekwondo aint got shit on kung fu... Dated a chick thats an ex-medalist in taekwondo, didnt know shit bout weapons tho. I totally argee with u. I use a 34" long nunchuck myself with a 10" long metal chain which is much bigger then this one he using..I found out that this is the best nunchuck I've ever use. Because it gives me so much power to each strike..this is because the distance of my nunchuck give me more torsional moment, most importantly I have better control of it over my old nunchuck which is smaller and has shorter chain..and is never being about the weapon, is always about the usage of the weapon.

no your incorrect speed chucks is the name of the nunchaku that have the ball bearing swivels called speed chucks. The one this guy is swinging look very similar to prochux that roy williams and lee barden use. As far as better for fighting thats debateable it really depends on the individual but different styles and lengths of nunchaku lend themselves better to different techniques
