they didn't say that in the book because the fight scene between edward and james wasn't really told from Bella's point of view. I think she was pretty much unconscious. So that's pretty interesting to see. I haven't seen the movie here in Philippines. anyway, stephenie seems like she was really involved in the film making.Maybe that's how she envisioned it as well.

they were freeking awesome last night man, yeah i agree the crowd were a bit lifeless, me and my mate started jumping at the second song and saegplour, hope i spelt that right, but loads of the crowd werent really feeling it. yeah for a minor reflection were brilliant as well. Loved everything about that gig.

saw them last night quite literally the best gig i have ever been too.The support band were also very very good but the crowd didnt really seem to be into the whole post rock thing. was a bit of a shame but the crowd eventually got going. the special effects were incredible as well, the whole waterfall on stage and the confetti not to mention the sepia images of the band somehow morphing into something else. anyway enough rambling on.:

Hi John, I can try, mind you I am no expert. But Gram came from Italy & loved the Italian operas.I have been listening to these arias since I was about 5 yrs old. As many have said, re Nussun Dorma, it's really about the last 20 seconds or so. The song itself is one that builds, but in the end he is confident and bold, He will win! When Morning comes he will have victory! The last few words should be the most robust, but Corelli does not pour out that emotion level at the end. Just my opinion.

May I respectfully reply? After all is said and done, isn't it really about the end result? Who makes it sound the most beautiful to our ears, and who sings it in the way that touches our hearts? I have never heard it sung by pavoratti that the room did not explode in tears and cheers. He only got better with age. This was from 1980 and I love it because of his beautiful smile, but try listening to a couple of his others here. Corelli was excellent too, but his ending was always a dissapointment

Nessun Dorma is supposed to be sung by a tenor dramatico (such as Franco Corelli, search for his versions here on youtube), not by a tenor lyrico like Pav. I saw him only once live when he was sick already where he missed all the few difficult notes during the concert - but who am I to dare to complain? I played violin 1 for this piece in our orchestra around 5 years ago,but it was the short version, it was only like 8 minutes.. It's such a beautiful song, everyone's liking it even though they didn't know this song (we're Indonesians) and they gave standing applause for it.. But I have to admit that this one is much more wonderful.. Well, it's by New York Philharmonic after all.. Still a long way to go to be as good as them.. =)

that was awesomely perfect apart from that silly trombone solo bit> Please, the trombone solo is the highlight. Thank god for any pop music that employ's horn players. What's lame is the back-up lyrics & the lyrics in general. Fagens parts are only marginally deep, they're perfect for a PG crowd. Mature, but no real depth. Back-up vocals are almost comical and virtually pointless. Fagen's just one more in a long line of ambiguous voices that somehow managed to find pop stardom.
