It is only in space for like 10 minutes. It can't reach orbital velocity (the ISS orbits at ~27500 km/h, and you can't orbit much slower than that.) This only goes a couple thousand. It goes straight up, and then descends. SpaceShipThree will most likely be orbital.

Its not far fetched, do a search on spaceship one, its basicaly the same idea except less pretty but its the same. big plane takes small plane up. releases it at a high altitude and the small plane rockets into space, comes back and lands. saves a lot of launch fuel when you compare it to a regular space launch.

the little box is called a light sensor. if youre in a light area then the keypad goes off to save power. but if youre in a dark area then the lights will come on so you can see better. try it urself by putting it under the bed cover and waiting a few seconds till it comes on. then take it back out and it should go off. hope this helps. reply back and let me no..

Ezt honnan veszed? Tudsz forrást megjelölni? A gömböc sík terepen nagyon szépen beáll egyensúlyi helyzetbe, na de tudjuk hogy a harckocsikat milyen terepre tervezik. But the Earth isn't a flat surface! :) There are probably other evolutionary constraints at work, like resistance to crunching and bashing, so we can't expect the convergence to be exact, anyway. And a turtle doesn't have uniform density.

It's funny that so many people are like, "WTF?" I can think of many ways I could use this like if I lock my bike to a bike rack on the sidewalk. Walk along a sidewalk in Chicago and you're sure to see wheels bent from a car swiping them. It's not the biker's fault when the racks are too close to the street, but with a wheel like this...

Crooks nowadays have invented the new technique of carrying the bike away instead of riding it. This wont work for security but would be useful on one of those folding bikes. The biggest problem with those is the size of the tire until now.

Folding wheel and bike frame you can take public transportation greatly expanding your range allow compact storage in a car or on a bus, train, taxi. My Kent folding bike is taken with me on the road in a big truck I can get to places where trucks are not allowed affording me the luxury of getting away from truck stop mentality. I'm a college educated modern man not a Neanderthal like people think truckers are. I save time too those warehouses are huge and take 20 min to walk across.
