people always say that cops always take forever to get to a complaint or emergency but some people don't realize that people don't pull over. i live in Maine and ive seen some of my dads videos and nobody had pulled over but 1 person and that was within a 12 mile radius. he would get sped of about 110 and then be right back down to 35-50 all because people wouldn't pull over. so the next time you see a cop coming behind you with the lights pleas pull over.

I used to work downtown San Jose, Ca. There was this whacked-out homeless guy who hung out in a small park across the street. You couldn't see his face for all the gray hair. He never bothered anybody or asked for money. He just talked to himself a lot. One day a coworker said "you know who that guy is" He said "That's Skip Spence of the Moby Grape". one of the true lost classics of great albums of the 60's or any decade ..grape was just too talented ...of course skip spence was in the airplane too....the playing of jerry miller and peter lewis along with spence is some of the most beutiful and the most rocking..its' ashame they should have been bigger...one of my all time favorite albums ..if you don't have it get it you won't be dissappointed...

I hope this band gets the reissues it deserves soon. They re-released some of their albums last year, but I heard they were recalled because of a management dispute or something. Doesn't surprise me, since apparently that's been the story with this band since the beginning. They coulda been huge if they didn't keep getting tied up in record disputes and stuff like that.

The MG 42 had a caliber of 7,92 mm so it really went through the soldiers bodys with ease. That´s part of why it was so effective. And it fired 1200 rounds per minute so it´s even kind of an overkill.

i got one more thing to say. if high caliber round like the MG42's when it hits the water should it not "explode on contact? I saw on mythbusters that a round is slowed or distentegrated once in contact with water. I do know it does happen but i don't think it is capable of taking out 2 men at once. But i only know from a freshman's stand point in High school

I worked in the 60s in TV stations for CBS, ABC & local networks. I can confirm there was not all the technology you needed for a live band to play. maybe one monitor & the techs often kept the band at bay, not the bands fault. You may get lucky & have 1 or 2 Fairchilds (602 )or Pultecs, Gates Sta-level, CBS Volumax/Audimax & very basic desk eq/limiting & pre amps and little time to set up. The components we use today just were not around in the 60s. The Grape were 1 of the better bands around.

We are so much bigger then lincoln. Almost 300,000 more people live in Omaha then Lincoln (city limits). Omaha was the capitol for a while but it was moved to Lincoln when Nebraska became a state. People had in mind the Lincoln would become one of the largest cities in the midwest. It is but it is no where near Omaha's capacity and excitment. Omaha is a great place to live.

Yeah, it's the set up that gets me. I was born here, lived here for 10 years, moved away for 10 and came back. I lived in Chicago, Boston, New York and Orlando before coming back. Maybe it's the lack of sky scrapers that throw me off? Omaha just doesn't feel like a big city to me .. some aspects do, but not a lot. With regards to construction, they need to widen Harrison Street ASAP .. that's all I know. I don't get why Omaha is not the capital. Aren't we larger and more populated than Lincoln?

omaha is bigger then oakland minneapolis miami and many others, so yes i think it is big. the construction is not the best i will agree but they always do get done early, maybe its just the way they set up you don't like or something. Millard was annexed by Omaha in the 60's but i do believe there were some left out parts that weren't annexed. you might be one of them. i just talked to somebody about this today who is in the same boat so...

personally, i prefer desaparecidos to bright eyes. can't really say why... but i cant even listen to bright eyes anymore. o'berst's voice warbles too much with his bright eyes work, and i tend to think he does it purposely. and bright eyes is much more pretentious than desaparecidos.

Dragonforce are good in studio because they get a thousand chances to play one riff, use a bunch of effects, and can edit their riffs when they make mistakes(which is 90% of the time) I've tried playing with another guitarist in harmony, not hard if you both can count to 4. And Dragonforce shouldn't play songs in studio they can't play live. And Cellador's solos are way more than simple. Dragonforce's rhythm's are VERY simple. Cellador > Dragonforce.
