The Brompton Oratory is my favourite church in England. They did not change any of it in the 1960s like so many others, so it still retains all its original 19th century Italian baroque furnishings including massive high altar and 60 foot deep sanctuary.

Only the first 4 or 5 seasons are any good though the last two help sort of show the behind the scence in campaigns and stuff. The writing & characters just arent the same not that anyone after 8 years under that kind of stress likely would be it still lessens the enjoyment of the show in my opinion.

It is amazing that a show which ran its finale 2 years ago is still haunting us today. Say all you will about the speedy dialogues or busy pacing, but this show and its ideals in measures large and small speaks for every human. It may be the very best representation on the imperfectness of human civilisation of today and hopes for the better of tomorrow. I love all of Aaron Sorkin's work, and I hope someday he will unite us like this show has. But for me, nothing will ever trump The West Wing.

I never wished superman was real or charlie brown would come to life, but what i do wish is for a president that would love humanity as much as he did his own voice. Do not infantalize augnes0920 for seeing that the passion and artistic ability held in this fictionalized world was something that we want to be true. It may be a liberal fantasy, but so was integration,naturalization, and diversity in the government at some point. We do not mind flawed presidents, we detest ignorance in citizens.

We have a level of fanatical devotion here that I haven't seen in my 49 yrs. And it isn't black voters either; it's the liberal whites. People fainting at his rallies...what nonsense! Mick, my niece and nephew were born in Mexico. Their mom is a Mexican citizen. But both are considered native Americans (US citizens), however, because their dad is one. Obama's mother's womb makes him a native American, UNfortunately. McCain was born in Panama.
