CHEERS man this is amazing! I rememember the first time I heard this. It was being played by a band I knew called Bedouin in the 70's. Then I started hearing it played when I was going out to rock clubs/pubs in London. They were great times. Recently I found an old video I'd taped from the TV of Ash doing Phoenix, along with Throw Down the Sword and The King Will Come. I transfered it to disc and have been getting into it big time. Then I found all this great stuff on youtube... brilliant! thanx

Saw them in RI two nights ago. Best 20 bucks I ever spent. Different guitarist and drummer...both great. They ended with Phoenix. It was truer to the original than this performance. It was as intense a song I've seen performed live in years. See this band! Great performance rock! Fabulous!

Timpul a tecut, sint in Ametica de 30 de ani, dar i-mi aduc aminte de timpul cind cintau vis-a-vis de stadionul 23 august. Then "ONE DAY" I was driving him in my car when i was just learning to drive and he asked whats your favorite song. We were on our way from galveston I remember to Dickinson... I put on this song... with its long intro... he had no idea what it was for that 4 minutes with that loooong organ note... then when Issac said "By the time..." MY dad burst into tears with me.
