I have it on Steam, and I'm just now finishing it up for the first time ever. I'm at the last few levels, but I'm kinda stuck(damn keycards). I started on normal difficulty, but it's pretty hard. no kid u dont have luck ... first of quake4 needs a CRT monitor cuz their the fastest look at what fatal1ty uses.second u need gaming equipment unless u play as a hobby and u suck.third try gtx 280 with quad 2,6(x8) and 8gigs of ddr3 memory i think it will work better blah.

Quake 2, not 3... have played it on my n95 (open-gl support ftw, though some modding is involved to get it going) and it eats up more or less all available resources, having in mind that by pure numbers n95>psp (well n95 isn't dedicated for games, so you probably can't get as much out of it) i can definetely say that quake3 isn't going to happen =P

This villain isn't hard. I thin id software actually needs to step back a few pegs and make a villain that is REALLY tough. I mean seriously. The Cyberdemon in the original Doom was a nightmare to finish off when properly employed. The wolfenstein 3-d villains were fairly tough if placed on a good map, but Castle Wolf and Doom 3 had absolutely HUGE LETDOWNS for final bosses. I wiped the floor with them all!

What type of monitor do you have? CRT's have some type of function that makes the screen look flickery to prevent blur or something. i always set that function to 0%. There is a difference between a cheap one, and a mid-range one. 75 hz is suppose to be good, but for some people you might need 85 hz depending on the monitor. The end-day crt's had like 120hz at 1600x1200!

nothing beats playing these old games on an CRT monitor! as well as new games of course! These new games lack something us in the older generation lacked!--that is properly vivid picture... I can't experience what I use to with all these old games because the lack of visual appeal from an "LCD"... The game itself is really fun, but the intro is so gay looking, it just sucks. Its a faint reminder of the early stages of 3D video games in the 90's, bottom line is: the cutscenes and intros are stupid and pointless, I would rather see actual gameplay than this crap.
