Wastegate connects to the exhaust manifold and prevents too much exhaust from powering the turbine by regulating it at a certain PSI. The BoV is ideally positioned closer to the intake throttle body and dumps the excess boost generated so that it doesn't overwhelm the intake manifold when you let off of the gas. Yes, you want to run them together. I have the HKS GT-II Wastegate underneath the exhaust manifold.

I'm doing this swap too. It's not an easy swap by any means. You'll need custom engine mounts, custom tranny mount, custom driveshaft. Then you have to figure out the ECU side of things (either wire the entire stock one in...not great for upgrading, or do a custom EMS). Also need to do the exhaust and things like that.

did you use a combination stud w/ thicker on side that it bolts into the block, and a thinner stud on the outside? cause i am using oem replacement studs, and its not lining up right, the holes are too small for it to line up right. i can just make them bigger like how the cast manifolds holes are oblong, its no big deal, i was just wondering how it would fit for you and not for me.. hmm.

Hey Cameron, no problems with the manifold whatsoever, apexi bolted straight up it's cast made directly for it. This is an old vid, over a year ago. The Fans are controlled by a Pivot fan controller so they're not contstantly on as they were at the time of recording this.

I'm not too sure what 30psi on gt35r w/ rb25 would throw down. It would be sweet to see it run at 30psi. The downpipe is a custom one that I had made, and I would recommend having a custom one made so that it will clear the steering rack (lhd)

between 3700 - 6000 you have to replace a lot of factory parts that came with the clip, water pump, spark plugs, belts, hoses, radiator, front mount. ect ect. or you can do a perfect build and improve a lot of Sh*t while the motor is already out. im missing stuff, but go to the nissan forums ( NICOCLUB )and read articles about how to do it and the cost.

all rhd and lhd cars share the same body n stuff... its just like swaping a sr20det / rb25det in 240sx... dont see how this is unsafe... cuz in 240sx steering is on the left... and so is the turbos ... if it was that unsafe u wouldnt see 240s with sr20's and rb's .. if ur concerned about hitting something at 150km/h front end... dmg will be the same conversion or no conversion.. and performance comes from engine tranny suspension and modifications not which side u sit and drive .....

This 240sx has a rb25det series 2 engine swap from a R33 Nissan Skyline! The clutch is brand new in the video, so I couldn't get on it really hard... I was only taking it to about 4500rmps and only building 5psi at half throttle. This car was built by me at my shop, VisionSpeedFactory.c om

LOL. the white face gauages came in ALL S14 years as a standard feature on SE models. HUD isn't even an option in the US. And as for the insurance, my friend is driving around a "95 240sx" that looks EXACTLY like black 1996 ECR33 GT-St! in other words the insurance company don't know shit.

Hi all, I did do the swap myself. The front clip was around $2500-2800 if I remember correctly. My best advice here is to buy the engine set or clip only from a very reliable importer, even if it means paying more. Some good ones that I've used: JHOT in Augusta (see my RB20 videos) and JARCO in Canton, GA. My biggest peice of advice...SWAP THE MOTOR IN STOCK. Don't try to swap injectors, turbo etc... before you ever get it running for the first time. This motor blew, see my RB20..I did it right.
