And what about senna always beating prost on a single lap (65 poles, and many when they were teammates)? Races are not only about speed but many other variables...in some prost was better but senna was no doubt faster than prost.

this one is too you "vuetube" prost was taken out buy senna, because senna late braked and had no business making a move like that one the first lap, he did that so he would win the 89' title.. by one point. prost's car was not fine, two tierods on the right front were knocked loose. he couldnt turn the car. or make it to the paddocks.

Prost could, indeed, have carried on, but he stepped out believing his car was damaged; he saw that one of his wheels was off at a funny angle, but what he didn;t check was the other wheel...it too was off at the same angle; his car was fine!

That's Euro-Rules-Racing for ya. The car is in danger on the runoff at the end of a high-speed straight, so they disqualify the driver for not spinning around and driving at the oncoming cars to take the turn. Of course, navigating the tire barriers takes longer than going through the turn, but that doesn't matter. When F1/FIA want someone to win, or someone else to lose, they're gonna be sure they get their way one way or another. Prost made a dumb move by quitting and thus FORFEITED the race!

thats a complete lie. he took out prost so he would when the championship. and he did by one point. dennis favored senna, because he was a cry baby, if didnt get his way. senna later on admitted of taking prost out to win the championship. cause he knew if he didnt, he wouldnt have a shot of beating him fair and sqaure. racer my ass more like assanine cheater! prost was a real racer, he won more championships and races! he was technical and used his mind and his driving style was total finesse.

Senna was a racer and did everything to win. He was right on the back of Prost and simply went up the inside of him to pass him. There was plenty of room for Senna to pass and Prost only turned in for the corner after Senna was committed to overtaking. Senna would have made the corner easily if Prost had seen him coming and stayed wide. Of course Dennis would say it was Senna's fault because it would always be better for the team if they had just stayed in P1 and P2 without battling

you are all ignorent assholes! senna is personably my favorite f1 driver. but it was his fault. he had no busness passing there. prost was all ways better than he was. and "luisolf" who said schumacher would be nothing if senna did not pass away. is clearly untrue! schumacher won the first three races in 94' and senna had three dnf's. no one will ever have a driving style like senna did. but know one will ever be more winning than Micheal Schumacher.

Nossa,que saudades do Senna.Um ídolo de verdade.Sem dúvidas, é o melhor piloto de fórmula 1,de todos os tempos.Segurar o Mansell,atrás na cola dele durante 3 voltas para acabar,não é para qualquer um não hein.Dúvido se alguns desses pilotos atuais conseguiria esse feito.Isso só é possível com gênios , e esse gênio se chama Ayrton Senna Da Silva.

Senna grande piloto, gênio e tudo o mais... Emerson vibrei muito com ele na F1 e na Indy. Piquet muito chato e um bom piloto só isso. Barrichelo muito ruim. Massa cresceu muito como piloto o ano que vem com certeza ele vai ser campeão.

Is there a more loved driver in the history of racing that brings the kind of emotion from people that Ayrton did. Its because he wore his emotion on his sleave, he was real, it was real anger and much as it was real love for what he did. It was insanity and bravary at the same time, Yes my hero is insane but I loved every minute of it and miss him dearly. RIP Ayrton Senna Di Silva

Prost used to say that Senna was faster than him in qualyfing session because he didn't want to take risks like the Brasilian did. So why didn't apply for a job as a chaffeur instead of competing in Formula 1?

Creo que ha sido el mejor piloto en la fórmula 1. Llevo viendo las carreras desde el 2004 y según los previos de Tele 5 y las carreras que me he bajado posteriormente, comprendí que no solo ha existido Alonsomanía sino que tambien, la fiebre Senna. No habrá nadie como Senna, pero el más cercano actualmente, es Fernando, y Lobato plagió el Magic de Senna y se lo puso a Alonso porque es el más cercano a senna, no quiero decir que sea igual ni mucho menos

Senna foi um herói. não como um herói de gibi que vivi aternamente em carne e osso combatendo o mal. Ele foi como Jesus. Eu não sou nem católico + acho que as histórias tem um pouco haver uma com a outra. Ambos construiram seu legado e levaram muitidões pelo mundo e até hoje, mesmo apos anos de suas mortes, ainda são seguidos e tidos como heróis. I beg to differ. Mansell wasn't at the same league of Senna and Prost, IMHO. It's like Senna and Prost were Lennon and McCartney and Mansell, Ringo Star. They were all playing at the same stage, but the levels were just different.

Mr.555. Don't agree completely because I think it doesn't apply to Senna. He achieved the balance between his right foot and head. Of course he made some mistakes by impulse, but during his career he mastered the act of drive to such a high level, racing on the limit, amazing skilled, but on his control. His dead as we all know has nothing to do with an irresponsible drive. His magic was about a skill level achieved by anyone instead of "crazy" driving that we use to like to watch. An exception

nice videos to see two different points of view. When Jackie Stewart was racing it was far more important not to crash into someone, because it could end the lives of all involved, than just to win. Drivers had far more respect for each other, and where seeing their "friends" die. In the 80s the fatalities where becoming much less and this started to make car to car crashes more often.

na base, foi realmente o q aconteceu. ele dizia q fez aquilo pq fizeram uma injustiça com ele em pôr a pole position no lado sujo da pista em suzuka. ele diz q iria virar a curva em primeiro, não importa o q aconteceria, e ele bateu com piquet, ganhando o título.... exatamente o oposto ocorreu em 89

Essa história de 'tomarem' o título do Senna em 89 (o ano que eu nasci, cara!) e dele dar o troco em 90(bater o carro, e sair campeão!)é demais!!!Parece roteiro de filme! Nesse tempo sim, F1 fazia sentido.Hoje não é o caso. Ah!Gostei do cara que disse, que entende mais o japonês do entrevistador, do que o inglês do Piquet!Engraçadíssimo!!!

senna foi um piloto excepicional e se destacou por querer superar seus próprios limites. esse modo de viver extremo para se superar o levou pra história do automobilismo e o fez morrer tão cedo. porém, a globo fantasiou nossas mentes e realmente passou a imagem de senna-santo. seu instinto por vitória era tão grande q ele realmente fazia merda, ele n aceitava perder.

Esse negócio de pessoas que não entendem de f1 comentar é que é foda! Falar que o Senna era bonzinho e tals! Isso éra o que a Globo passava sobre ele. É só ver o que ele fez com prost pra ver quem éra o vilãozinho da f1 na época.
