they didnt get there name form the godsmack song buy alice in chains. he was making fun of somebody who had a cold sore on his lip and the next day he had one himself and somebody said, 'It's a godsmack.'and The name stuck.

Right on. No one ever sees eye to eye on religion. Just have your beliefs, don't preach onto others and let people live the way they want and leave it at that! And religion does suck just because of all that, the world would be a calmer & more peaceful & happier place if people didn't make such a big deal about it! I went to see these guys for my first concert in Lewiston Multi-Purpose Center, Maine. They were AMAZING to say the least, it sounded so much like the actual Album recordings it was like I was in a Jukebox with them playing! They played Voodoo as TWO drummers on spinning Platforms just BANGING it out while 30 ft. Pyro-technics shot into the crowd while me and my brother Victor started the two BIGGEST BADASS Marshpits in Godsmack History... Says them at the end of the concert. =D

I agree. This sounds awesome but no singer could ever get close to sounding like Roy Khan and his voice sets Kamelot apart. I am glad to find another male-lead band with clean vocals, though.

Np. Btw I saw Kotipelto in my homeland just last week. He did a acoustic gig with Tuomas Wäinölä in a bar very near my home. Believe it or not, but the tickets were 5 euro that night =) Had much fun singing songs with Kotipelto like Serenity, Sleep well, Black diamond and Hunting high and low. He even sang Ozzys shot in the dark and Iron maidens trooper. Never ever will I get that much good livemusic for that amount of money.

Super good news. Stratovarius will rise again! Kotipelto, Jens Johansson, Jörh Michael and Lauri Porra are going to continue Stratovarius without Tolkki! This made my day =) Read what really happened in the band from Stratovarius homepage and what the future has in store for the newborn Stratovarius.

He is still with Stratovarius. They solved their differences and are a whole band again. They are recording a new album that should be released this year. Timo has his soloproject so that he can compose, produce and sing his own material. Btw saw Stratovarius live last summer at their only homeland gig in Tuska open air festival. They are still the best of powermetal and will always be to me.
