I think what was so great about Python was that they had no limits. None. Irrational? "Dirty"? Crazy? Whatever. That's why their stuff works so well. Some of the pleasure I derive from Python is the way they connect ideas that appear to be totally dissimilar, juxtapose those ideas onto run-of-the-mill situations and then go to maximum absurdity, yet it's all still truthful about humanity. I think that appreciation of Monty Python really has nothing to do with gender. It has to do with how willing you are to engage in humour so intelligent that most people wouldn't be able to think it up themselves. And I also appreciated the comment about rationality being an overrated virtue.

Well I'm a girl of 20 and I'm mad of Python! In fact I AM stark raving mad - Mental sanity seems to be an overrated virtue these days. Is Python male humour? Good question... I may only have a small tiny hint of autism, if any, but my brother ended up getting it in the worst way. He didn't really start walking until he was 2, and that's pretty much as far as he developed. It took to age 10 just to get him to stop destroying everything in sight or putting everything in his mouth. He hasn't said a word yet, and wears diapers. I don't like the description, wheres the feelings in a stone? Where is all the screaming and the frustration I hear? Autism is not all about structures or different characters, many autistic children are deficient in nutrients due to severe probs with wheat/milk. I accept my child and love him, yet I want him to be well. I have found chagning his diet helped alot. Where is the reality, autism is autism, everyone is a stone.
