Yes, I know how old the music is, but still I don't think its any excuse for the video. It'd be better with no video at all. the person actually said they cried when they saw VNV live. Music live is much different then hearing it in person, you can feel the music and feel the lyrics. I too have not cried listening to VNV, however seeing them perform "endless skies" live i came close. Its all a personal feeling towards a song, not a universal effect.

I grew up with bands like metallica and while they make you drive faster or pump your fist in the air - there is truly and absolutely no comparing them to the beatles. Paul Mc could play any instrument w/ 10X the talent of anyone in metallica!!!!
