I wonder what kind of "Mormon" you are. Not that the "Mormons are against these people, but of what they do. Just curious if you profess to be a "Mormon" Have you ever heard of what cities in the Bible were destroyed because of doing the same things? Namely the cities of Sodom & Gomorrah? As a Mormon myself, I am amazed that the Church would go to such length to deprive people of their rights...though not totally surprised. It is important to know that not all members share the same position. This being said, it does not take away from the fact that they sing wonderfully well. It is a performance to behold. I was privileged to see them live, and it is mesmerizing.

Saw this performed at Temple Square...the crowd was on its feet before Craig Jessop's baton came down and they began to scream, literally,to roar out their appreciation of what the performance of the song elicits in the very inner chambers of the human soul. I can remember the the first time I heard this. The choir from my school, Winter Park Senior High did it and I still have the record. They made it sound so good. I did not know the reason to be standing during it's playing but later on found out why. It is one of the greatest songs still.

They have won countless awards, are world renowned, have performed for presidents and kings, and the United States sent them to represented the United States as a gift to Australia for their centennial celebration a few years back. Perhaps you don't know what the words "reverent" or "holy" mean. Moses on the Mount was told by God to remove his sandals because the ground he stood upon was holy ground. Moses spoke to the Creator with tremendous respect and "reverence" and "awe." That is the tone in which this choir resonates. They are regarded as one of the best choirs in the world (along w/Vienna Boys Choir). Over 400 voices singing with such gentle harmony and control is astounding.
