I watched an interview with Eastwood he said this film was supposed to be the last culmination of the character called "The man with no name" Sort of a combination of all his past western characters put together as the last chapter of an outlaw with many names and pasts. Pale Rider, High Plains Drifter, Josey Wales, man from Fistful of Dollars Etc.. Hate to see the end of this character. But it was a good end.

I liked the scene where the girl gets cut. It was so intense. I wanted it to stop but he just kept on cutting her. A really good scene that just sucked me right into the movie and a great way to set the tone for the movie...a no nonesense film. A true masterpiece in movie history.

This movie is so great if you were a fan of Eastwood's past movies. I watched an interview with Eastwood he said this film was supposed to be the last culmination of the character called "The man with no name" A combination of all his past western characters put together as the last chapter of an outlaw with many names and pasts. Pale Rider, High Plains Drifter, Josey Wales, Good bad ugly, Fistful of Dollars Etc.. Eastwood said it was sort of a thanks to all the fans.

This gothic art is to "people based" I mean every single picture has a picture of a person trying to look like a vampire. Gothic art is more like picture at 0:00 andthe one at 3:41 . Yes there is people in it but they are not the main focus. Mythical/dark scenary is important in gothic art.

I just saw thi movie last night for the first time. It started out a bit slow. I was expecting sumthing like his older western movies. But man o MAN this move was amaing. the ending by the tree where he starts to drink again... you knew that clint was going o kick some ass. GREAT ENDING!
