Most fucked up thing in The Wire. I understand killing for personal gain or to protect yourself from retribution and all that. But Wallace was their best friend. I'd take my chances with stringer and avon, rather than kill my best friend in cold blood. Fuck that. And if they came to kill me. So be it. At least go down with some honor intact. I liked Bodie, but this was a bitch move. He had more fear of Stringer, then love for his boy. Unforgivable. D'angelo had true heart.

To ppl like Avon Barksdale and Stringer Bell the rules only apply when they work in their favor. Stringer had Wallace and D'Angelo killed cause he thought they might snitch then he snitches. Avon had a security woman who witnessed a murder killed even though she didn't snitch. It went against the rules but they did it anyway. If it was your mother who was killed you'd want people to break the don't snitch "code".

I was actually at the game where they did this! It was in the 4th quarter and the game was already decided. The Pistons called a timeout, and both teams (and both coaching staffs as well!) were watching the video. In the first half they were just singing, so everyone was like, "Huh?" Then Sheed goes REMIX, and the stadium erupted! Everyone was laughing and cheering so loud, it was incredible! This little clip doesn't do it justice.

Yes. There have been programs in this country that help people find employment that have either been flat funded or decreased funding because we are spending $10 Billion a month in Iraq. We should get out responsibly, but we need to get out so that money can go to the infrastructure of this country (including road and bridge construction - which creates jobs). We need to bail out our kids future, not the auto industry. Fed assistance should be contingent on building gas efficiency. Period.

Nope. I actually think that the auto industry and Wall Street have violated the public trust and gotten themselves into a lot of trouble that directly affects this country. I think the lack of appropriate regulations coupled with the rampant irresponsibility of the citizens of this country in living beyond their means to keep up with the "Joneses" next door contributed to our economic hardships. I think there are other ways to stimulate the economy without bailing out the auto industry. You?
