In Toronto, they do not retire numbers. They honour them. Anyone can wear the numbers that are raised in the Rafters. In Montreal, I think they just retire the number completely. Not sure.

I just have to say that the ovation would have gone on for a lot longer than it did, but Wendel didn't let it. He just started speaking and was obviously uncomfortable with the applause. I found the ceremony a lot better and more classy than the usual "Habs" ceremonies where they feel the need to drown out the player being honoured for 10 minutes just so they can say how much more passionate they are about hockey than everyone else. I find that "weak" and very contrived.

I don't think you can ever measure a player just by his stats. People who don't think Wendel was great are doing just that. They never watched him every Wednesday and Saturday night. It makes me laugh when people just discount him for the HHOF. Cam Neely was my favourite player growing up, and people say he shouldn't be in the HHOF either. No disrespect to guys like Glenn Anderson, but did he EVER mean as much to his team or the city he played for more than Cam or Wendel? I think not.

OMG I did not know this video existed. I'm in tears right now....... my late mother sung and directed this song for our state choir in Oklahoma. It's been three years since she passed away, and 2 years since I've heard this song. And I didn't realize until now that was Wendell from World Harvest Outreach. He is amazing, singing and playing!

I agree; I had to turn the volume to the highest level on my computer and on the video. I never knew they sang this song. It looks so lost though not seeing The Fellowship choir up there. It seems empty in a sense. Who is the current Pastor. Where is Rev. Clay Evans worshipping now. Did Loretta Oliver stop singing also with the choir and altogether? I know so many questions. we just kind of figured it was the americans testing something they might have developed at pine gap: a facility in the middle of australia looks like a giant golf ball also 13 yrs l8r there was an australian tv show that featured the same phenomena. my dad saw some kind of UFO in the desert a few hundred kilometres from Ayers Rock/Uluru it was just like a bright light that was eerily silent which came down slowly and just kind of hovered above the community, before taking off at unbelievable speed at an acute angle into the distance. well they're mostly believed to be extra-dimensional rather than just from really far away. as in higher beings etc. they mention them in passing but since there isn't a lot of detail or relevance there is usually little point to teaching on the matter of unearthly technology and physicality. Though I think it would be hard for you to find a church in American that speaks openly about the subject. They tend to only pick out what they wait you to know, and not the whole story. i'm not fully up to date on leading theories on ET life. but if these particular aliens want to help us by giving us free energy and anti-gravity why don't they just release the plans on the internet. they will spread like wildfire, and the we won't need to burn crap for heat/power any more. After playing it for about a week both in-studio and gigging I am in love. My only complaint is the feedback when in a small venue where you're cramped up against the amp. After filling the body with some foam and tissue to reduce the resonance and covering the f holes it fixed the problem... thats what is to be expected for hollowbody + high gain + high volume. The filling doesn't affect the natural sound too much. I am going to put in some Q-Tuner pickups when I have the money. Overall A-

i like the bridge pickups of grestch style arch-tops more than any other guitars. they show the natural harmonic richness of the bridge position without being harsh or nasal in the upper mids or uppermid/treble range.
