Oh, more of this pretentious BS. Gravity Kills and Stabbing Westward kick ass, and I'm sick of hearing pretentious jackasses say they ripped off NIN. I have Broken and TDS, and I've heard plenty from Pretty Hate Machine and With Teeth, and this sounds almost nothing like NIN. At least I know all the 80's Skinny Puppy/Ministry/whatever industrial elitists are looking down on you NIN-fanboys the same way you try to look down on bands like Stabbing Westward, so I guess it doesn't matter anyway.

It's really hard to find. I lucked into a copy I found at a used CD store. One thing I've never understood is why music stores don't carry more albums from bands' early days before they got big. I've found a lot of albums like that that are just as good as a band's big albums that come out in their commercial prime.

I agree with PsychoRage666, both are incredibly good bands. Though for ohgrous the only album Trent has ever expressed Malcontent over was TDS, and it's ironic you express NIN fans nutting over dark videos when you sound like a SW Fanboy yourself ;) If you'd listen to more songs besides Hurt and Closer you can explore the creativity NIN has. As for SW they are equally as good. How you can argue over the two bands idk completely different. Real "fans" stick by the band in any direction they take.

I like Chris' voice best on this album than the following albums. It had a nice deepness to it that pretty disappeared and his voice was kind of high only afterwards. Either touring or drugs took the bass out of his voice by the time the next albums came out. Either that, or whoever produced this album was a REALLY good vocal producer.

These guys are so great live. At one of their shows promoting Whither, blister, burn and peel, the singer Chris Hall goes up to the mike and says the next song is for all their fans that helped the album be a success, and played 'Shame', the big single from that album. After they played that, Chris went up to the mike and simply said 'This next song is for our REAL fans', and played Violent Mood Swings. Absolutely awesome.

I was ten in '96, too, and I miss the fuck out of early-mid 90's music. STP (Scott Weiland, been my favorite singer since I was 6), Type O, Stabbing Westward, etc. The shit being put out now is all the same watered-down crap. There are so many shitty Stabbing Westward wannabe bands it HURTS. Seriously, my ears bleed just looking at them. Hell, this shit being sold as "emo" isn't even emo, it's pandering-for-attention pop so they can make money. It's all trash, bring back the 90's!

I love how people go to "dark" bands videos and ejaculate their praise for NIN. NIN is absolutely NOT the pinnacle of creative electronic music. Way too formulaic, not enough vocal variety. They kinda eat shit on some songs. Further, Trent gets interviewed after albums are done and he HIMSELF expresses disgust and malcontent with what he churns out. Stupid Fanboys still nutting over NIN though; sounding pitiful.

first off body armor isn't full proff a lot of the times its jsut makes troops feel stronger and more confident. for example a world war 2 standard m1 grand was but to the test agaist a WW2 helmet and a modern helmet.... the WW2 helmet had a giant hole and the modern 1 had a huuudge dent that could knock u out.. then a AK was used both were peirced straight through
