As can be viewed, the punishment was at the limit of endurance for a woman, especially one as malnourished as her. The flogging was issued by a ship's rating. She survived the ordeal...just. Surprisingly it also records the fact that women were flogged more often then men on the voyages to Australia. Usually for the aforementioned behaviour in this clip.

I am 26. And spent most of my time doing the same thing. Only it was a 65' Rivera Grand Sport with a 425CI Nailhead I rebuilt with my cousin. Sick car. Nothing but Zep, Cream, Sabbath, CSNY, Jethro, went through it. But the only way to get her side ways was Strangle Hold by Ted Nugent....I love my car but I love that song more. I was commenting on the response video because of course the orginal is good. (They're famous and got paid for it.) What I don't understand is why the guy took his response video off of here. It was really good. The music to this video is good and the clips are ok. They don't have enough imagination for me to give them a real comment. First and foremost, NOBODY sings Whippin' Post like Gregg Allman. That being said, I think Bo did the song justice and given the short time frame the band had to arrange the song, they killed it!! This is like an amateur hour over-acted rendition. I would have stopped it after 4 bars. Sorry. I've seen the original back with the original band. Sorry Bo and the band, it just wasn't that good. Keep working on it. Watch the vibrato, pitch and melody. It almost has a metal rock attitude which is just wrong for this song.

I don't like it. Solo was about 10 seconds and wasn't remarkable. Vocals were ok but pretty much crappy compared to Gregg Allman's. First time I heard the Allman Brothers' version I thought the singer was a black guy. Also, they really fucked up the ending. In the original the ending was a beautiful jazz-like cadenza and this was just crap.

mannn I have not watched this performance back in SO long! It may not be quiiite as strong VOCALS as I had remembered, but my good lord could that man PERFORM!! DEF one of the most seasoned performers idol has ever had :) (and for the record, what I said about the vocals didn't mean I didn't LIKE them. Bo had this awesome, gritty, raw texture to his voice that just made him even awesomer. It's just looking back his voice wasn't quiiite as techinically strong as I remembered, that's all)

I actually think this was a good rendition of the song. No doubt, it is hard to beat the Allman version, but Bo did a good job on this song. And I love the outfit.

It's cruel and unusual punishment. at slowmotionmotorsports they are building a k20 ctr for someone. Motor is great, built alaniz head with a 42r. The thing is probably around 1,000whp. But even with a race trans an gears that cost $6,000 they destroyed 3rd gear at only 450wtq. If someone can figure out how to make a trans work for a k20 they'd be everywhere. Until then it will just be B's and H's.

Sorry but your wrong. For $300 on a d16 you can find a t25, 14b or a 16g and most of the stuff you need to run it and then you have to tune it. And wow you get 200-240whp after that. b18 is the best base for hondas right now. Yea h22's can make some power but their pos block is just crap unless sleeved and still wont make much more than a B. And k20's are great engines, now they just need to make a good trans.

Come on dude.I build these for a living.I have a 500whp h22 hatch of a friends setting at my shop on his third engine.The hseries is poorly balanced hence the balance shafts it comes with it is capable of alot of power but not reliably.The only point i need to make is that 95% of all fwd honda records are made with a b series engine nuff said.The kseries is a decent engine with poor valvetrain and weak ass cable shift trannys.Please do some research before you compare apples to oranges.

No one comes close to Derek on Whipping Post or Dreams. I saw them in Atlanta on 8-20-06 and Derek's solo in Dreams was so cosmic that when he finished, people were screaming so loud and jumping that it felt like an earthquake. The ABBs website called it the best Dreams solo since Duane. Thats a HUGE statement.

They played a couple of new songs after they played the Bring it on set, so they must be working on a new album. I think How we operate was released in May of 2006 and they done a UK tour to promote it, so they'll probably tour for their next album. Their definitely worth traveling to see if they don't come anywhere near you. I seen them at Newcastle, Sheffield, London and T in the Park in 06 and they were different each time. Ben done a solo acoustic tour early this year which was a treat.
