honestly, i tried this and it dont seem all that great... i get better reception in general just using less effort with basic aluminum foil sorta like he shows in video with the larger peice of foil stuck behind antenna and guide it to general direction you want signal to go... then i just monitor the signal through DD-WRT firmware and adjust accordingly ;)

the two antennas transmit wi-fi B and wi-fi A separately if the wii is wi fi b (slower) then find out witch antenna dose what signal (might be quite hard)and point B to the wii and A to ur pc (witch is most probably A). if they both use A, then make a windsurfer that looks like 2 V`s pointing together from the top so it splits the signal to left and right.

Bandwidth is not the same thing as throughput kiddies!

One possible way with some corporate sponsorship, have a lucky few rich ass bugs start opening their wallets. For pay wifi, it shouldnt be terribly expensive either,like $10.00 or less depening which way or how they want to charge for unlimited use,but it would be a hell a lot cheaper than cable co's wired internet where geting socked with a $60.00 monthly bill, which is ridiculous. I think nobody shouldnt have to pay no more than $20.00 monthly on cable or dsl.

It could work...but the arc has to be PERFECT and the foil has to have NO defect in it...or else, is it a hoax. Satellite dishes work because the arc and the receiver are engineered to be at the right distance one from the other and the surface is very smooth and not all bumpy(sorta like aluminum foil)

it's simply a gadget that does some pretty cool stuff, plays mp3 music files, has a camera that takes stills as well as video has light and sound effects, the list goes on really, i'm about to order one very very soon just waiting to see when they come down in price before xmas, and of course if you was lucky enough to have this for xmas can you imagine opening this and then spending a few hours building it,lol....pretty damn cool i think

You can, the archos is big, but only compared to smaller players, like your average ipod. Really, there is no point trying to watch a movie on a 2.5 inch screen that you have to hold up the entire time :p
