Well, most people have no clue on how to do anything other with their computer than access youtube/yahoo/aol/etc. But also, you don't really need all of the security measures shown in the vid ... WPA2 AES encryption is more than enough to stop all but the most determined (and skilled) hackers. Especially when you use a strong password. Example of a very strong password: "[|l33t(*)h@xxor|]" (symbols+alphanumeric+almost random) Correct me if I'm wrong ... but i doubt that's even crackable.

Hey. I have been able to successfully crack a lot of WPA networks but this friend of mine who challenged me to it doesn't know anything about cracking. I was able to pull up a WPA handshake within minutes but it has been 13 hours and I just ran out of my dictionary files (I have two - one not so extensive). They didn't work. The guy is French and if anybody here wants to give it a try, let me know, I'll send out the BSSID and *.cap file. Thanks!

This is so lame...as sticky1254 put it...skiddies.Even with WPA encrypted passwords its still very crackable with a dictionary file and booting your labtop with the back track 3 linux distro.I've done it serveral times.WEP is weak is but WPA is not too far from it.Just need enough packets sniffed and one handshake from the network by knocking them off of it first.If you wanna know more about it send me a messege

Very Good! GUYS SWITCH TO WPA AND USE A LONG PASSWORD such as jdfoejfsjldfjf or something like that. WPA cannot be cracked like WEP. You need a dictionary file and ive never seen a dictionary file with that in it

What currently works (although almost unusable, as you can see) is catching signals that control our tongue (vocal cords?), which then can be translated to words. In short, he is saying stuff. not true the sensor bar actually recieves no information. the remote does all the work. you can actually see the homemade sensorbar because the camera picks up the ir and it is homemade because it has only 4 lights and not 10. This does work to see for youself set up 2 candels at the bottom of youre tv and turn off all of the lights and the remote should pick up the ir off of the candels and work.not well but it does work. try it yourself

Manan1016 Im not 100% sure but if you listen to the start of the video the guy did say that the cord only send power to the sensor bar (no information) which means that the information must be wireless, so instead of plugging the cord into the "Wii" You plug it into the battery. Then the homemade sensor bar sends the info to the wii (the wii thinks it's a real sensor bar) Im not 100% sure thats how it works, but thats all that makes sense to me... Hope it does to you aswell :)

Actually, they emit just as much infrared light (probably more). The only downside with candles is the flicker of light, which can cause the tracking of the Wii remote to be a bit sporadic. Otherwise, candles are sufficient.

Talking about the same wireless analog cameras, currently 2.4GHz is most likely the worse one due to its growing interference problems with Wi-Fi network, possible neighboring 2.4GHz users,... Considering higher price of 5.8GHz and stronger signal penetration of 900MHz, I would suggest less crowded 900MHz one. However, within one year or so, digital/encrypted 2.4GHz wireless camera will be released. It will be safer and no more interference problems.

In theory nothing is uncrackable but if the likelihood of being cracked is near zero then we say it is uncrackable. A 20 char truly random password is very secure but why would you use a 20 char password when you can use 63? WPA is only as strong as the password used to secure it as it is vulnerable to offline attacks. If you have a secure password you don't ever have to change it. No-one as far as I know has cracked a WPA wireless network that has a 20 char cryptographically strong password.

Are you sure anything over 20 characters is impossible to crack with current technology?? I've never seen it done on WPA, but surely with enough packets over a long enough period (maybe weeks or months) it can be done. But I would definitely say unless you are holding the keys to a nuke or something on your network, no hacker would waste their time. I would say changing your password every couple months is also another valuable security measure.

The most important thing in security is that there is no such thing as being totally secure (unless of course your computer is not connected to the outside world at all). All these security measures are what we call Defense in Depth. They allow different layers of security to make it difficult (but not impossible) to break into. So any security measure is better than nothing, even WEP because chances are most people won't know how to break it, unless they're into security and such.

i think they messed up by making it plasma.. they've become sort of uncommon because burn in has become too big of an issue. Especially because some tv programs aren't widescreen. My friend has a rather old plasma (by pioneer) and you can see permanent lines on the sides from the burn in from watching the non widescreen programs. I just think lcd would last longer while maintaining its quality.

that's funny as hell. Verizon rocks though, never liked it for years cuz i was stuck with AT&T crap, and then went to T-mobile due to its overseas GSM network. Then had crappy crappy Cingular and now Verizon. Service has been the best and the FiOS even kicks ass.

I was one of the 300+ people following Paul around when we made the commercial. Aside from Paul and the guys with the hard hats, the ONLY other people that were hired for the commercial were the one guy talking on the cellphone during most of the commercial, and the two friends with cellphone that show up near the end. The other people did not know there was a commercial being filmed until the 'Verizon Network' was right there in front of their eyes......so their reactions are all unstaged.

Yes! It is better than the regular Voyager because there were many kinks to be worked out and with the Titanium - solved. Also the touch screen responds better and is more protect able.
