Note, although Revelation 1:10 says "The Lord's Day" there is no indication it is referring to Sunday. On the contrary we see in Matthew 12:8 the following which Jesus Himself declares "For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath day". Making "the Lord's day" in Rev. 1:10 really the Seventh Day Sabbath, not Sunday!

C'est juste, je me suis trompée en écrivant que le sceau était le sang de Jésus. Errata de ma part. C'est vrai le sceau de Dieu est bien le Saint Esprit. Mais c'est vrai aussi que il faut que nos vêtements soit lavé dans le sang de Jésus pour entrer dans le Royaume de Dieu

Pas d'accord. Le sabbat n'est pas le sceau de Dieu mais le sang de Jésus est et si nos robe n'est pas lavé dans le sang de Jésus, alors on ne pourra rentrer dans le Royaume de Dieu. Et les Actes des Apôtres parlent des 1ers chrétiens qui se réunissaient le dimanche pour rompre le pain. Et donc votre vidéo est erronée.

Le sabbat est important pour les adventistes. Bien qu'ils vous disent être sauvé par la foi, si vous ne gardez pas le sabbat, vous êtes perdu... car le sabbat est pour eux le sceau de Dieu. Cela n'est pas soutenue par les Écritures. Mais le sceau de Dieu est bien le Saint Esprit. C'est simplement pour supporter leur approche de la marque de la bête et faire du dimanche une contrefaçon du sabbat. Christ est celui qui nous donne le vrai sabbat. Steph

Bonjour Florence ! L'interprétation adventiste est basée sur les supposées visions d'Ellen White. Comme pour les autres groupes religieux, leur vérité se base sur l'apocalypse. Beaucoup d'éléments semblent être scripturaire, mais c'est une illusion. Les dix commandements furent accomplis en Christ. Bonjour, C'est une question bien complexe et presque politique...a laquelle je n'ai pas de reponse precise. Neanmoins je reconnais les caracteristiques de "La" bete qui vit en chacun et qui n'est pas moins pire que la bete dont vous parlez tous. En general cette bete là, elle seduit, elle divise, elle se sert du pouvoir pour dominer, de l'argent pour s'edifier, elle est le mensonge personnifié qui corrompt le coeur. Quand je me serais totalement liberé de celle ci, je m'occuperai de l'autre...

L'essenciel est de pouvoir discuter pour comprendre ce qui fait barrage a la Verité commune qui semble vous reunir, le Christ. A mon avis, ce barrage s'appelle "concept", et tant que ceux ci ne seront pas depassés, la guerre est inevitable, parce qu'au dela des hommes ce sont toujours les concepts qui s'affrontent. Je connais bien le Catéchisme de l'Eglise catholique, je l'ai étudié lorsque j'étais au Grand Séminaire (de 1977 à 1983) et j'ai lu les documents de Vatican II. Vous me l'apprenez ! Dans nos réunions de lecture biblique, la Parole de Dieu a la première place ! Il ne faut pas réduire l'adventisme aux écrits de Mrs White. Les catholiques tiennent le Code de droit canonique, le Catéchisme et les écrits des papes pour équivalents à l'Ecriture Sainte !

Bonjour Syryl ! Jésus avait affirmé un jour que les chrétiens se diviseraient entre eux et s'accuseraient. Le propre de Satan est de semer la division en faussant la vérité. Les différents groupes religieux crient hauts et forts possédés l'unique vérité et ils s'accusent les uns les autres d'être dans babylone. Il faut comprendre l'histoire de l'église pour saisir cela. La bête en soit est loin d'être le catho. mais plutôt l'empire Romain de l'époque de Jean qui persécutait les chrétiens.

Comme vous le savez, j'ai été adventiste pendant 20 ans. Ce que j'ai découvert à propos de l'église que je chérissant tant, a fait que j'ai sorti de là. Aussi, la plupart de ces dogmes à caractère apocalyptique ne sont pas soutenu par la Parole mais par les écrits d'EGW. L'église adventiste ne s'est jamais rétorquée sur le fait que les écrits EGW sont égaux au même titre que les écritures, elle fait autorité. La plupart des membres lisent EGW à la place de la bible.

Rien à voir avec le fait que c'est une femme. Mais plutôt avec le fait qu'elle mente aux gens, que ces écrits sont du plagiat (même reconnu en tant que tel par un rapport d'un docteur adventiste, Veltman, et non reçu en vision etc.), qu'elle ne pratiquait pas ce qu'elle-même affirmait :«elle a mangé des huîtres jusqu'à la fin de sa vie alors (son propre petit fils peut vous le confirmer). Pour les prophètes, Dieu, dans les derniers temps, nous parle uniquement par le Fils (Hb 1).

I don't believe faith frees us from the Moral Law. It's a matter though of method of keeping that particular requirement. I would do a Google search if I were you, you can find many sermons on the topic. When I was trying to obey the bible in my own flesh, attempting to save myself by my own works, though I knew it not, I was very concerned about a Sabbath day. Jesus kept the Sabbath because he was required to fulfill the Old Testament Law perfectly on our behalf. We are still required to keep the Sabbath, but I believe the Sabbath is now a spiritual resting in faith from our own works as our means of salvation. My old church set up a huge committee to research whether we ought to keep the Sabbath on Saturday or Sunday, and they could not prove that Saturday was indeed the prescribed day so we continued to meet on Sundays.

I used to think the Sabbath was very important, but I don't anymore. That Sabbath rest in the Old Testament was just a forerunner of the spiritual rest that men would enter in to, a resting from their own works. I don't believe that we must keep a special day anymore. Hebrews 4. Charles Finney had a great sermon titled: "Resting in Obedience" that you can find on Google. We now ought to rest from our own works by faith in Christ who will do the works through us.

Rapture is described in John 14:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-58. At the time of rapture, Christ will descend from heaven and to take believers to His Father's house. Aeiva, If you keep the traditions of the man which include christmas, easter, halloween etc. then you are not following what God or Jesus (they are one) said. By the way, in the book of Revelations, when the New Jerusalem comes down out of Heaven there are 12 gates for believers to go in at. Which gate are you going to go in at?? I am neither Jewish nor Christian. I am a believer in the Jewish Messiah Yahshua and I follow God's Torah, the first 5 books of the Bible. Actually Paul WAS referring to the Feast of Unleavened Bread, God's Holy Day that Yahshua/Jesus did not do away with. What he was referring to was what the day represents. First not all of the old testament laws apply anymore; the only ones that do are the ones that Jesus orders of his disciples which are the TEN COMMANDMENTS. The tearing of the Temple Curtain is a symbol for this. Mentioned in Mark 15:38 and Luke 23:45.
