I would say it was quite easy to fly as you can see in my video this was my first flight. you just have to take into account you need a calm day outside or a decent sized indoor area to fly it in. You should be able to buy one now for less than the original price tag of £40.

I pulled mine out of a box the other day and took it for a fly, I found if you dont turn too fast it will work wonders, small pushes to turn will stop it from nose diving. I'm pro with it now, I can get it to climb dive and all sorts of things. Nice vid =)

the problem with these things is that they don't climb, this and the vamp are two ornathopters available for a reasonable price. They fly but they are slowly going down all the while you are flying them. Also they suck in wind

Ive flown this alot with out the tail ribbon and you can get some hectic moves going on. Thats how Ive got through both pairs of wings and I dont know where to get spairs from. Oh well it was fun while it lasted.

I couldn't fly it at all until I lent it to a friend, and he thankfully managed to crash it into a sewer canal. It stills works perfectly though, but it broke the ribbon's plastic attachment. I was pretty surprised to find out it flies much better without it, and I recommend you to try. With your skills that thing without the ribbon will be insane O.o

This robot reminds me of the bulldog robot from Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers. Look it up. They have a similar face. Wrex's face in thinner than the Rescue Rangers one, but overall, very similar to them. It pretty funny, but I think the novelty will wear off quick.

In the manual it says that the AUTOPILOT works beston white walls and by the looks of things, your walls look orange to me unless im colour blind and have you atually engaged the AUTOPILOT function by holding down the middle fire button before flying? You switch on the Bladestar+Remote and before touching the throttle you hold down the middle button (the one you use for dogfights) and try easing the power on and not climbing really quickly because it needs time to sence the roof.

I purchased one today after hours of research and emailing WowWee and it flies GREAT.If you are thinking of purchasing one, they are really good and do go fine. The autopilot goes fine but you cant climb too quickly because it needs enough time to scence the obstacles. This is a good product. MAYBE your one didnt work so well because in the instruction manual it said white walls are the best because it works off reflection. Try a lighter walled room.
