If 5 of the balls weigh the same and only 1 is lighter or heavier you can split them into 3 pairs and measure each pair. 2 of the pairs will balance out and the pair with the lighter or heavier ball will be uneven. Easiet of the puzzles so far.

First measure 3 on one side and 3 on the other. Then you know for sure on one side the lighter ball is, than you devide them in two groups one with two of the balls that were on the lighter side and one on the other side with one of the balls you already know is not lighter. If it turns out to be the one were you didn't know the weight of atleast one of the balls wheigh both og them against each other, et voila

explain that common sense of figuring out if one of them is lighter or heavier... i mean with you solution certainly a pair of balls will not be even.. so if you do find the pair wich is not even how do you know that the ball on top is lighter than or the ball on the bottom is heavier than the rest. you won't knwo that way if the different ball is heavier or lighter.. actually you wouldn't even know which of the 2 is...

take 4 balls and but 2 of em on each side,wich ever goes down its one of those two balls so take em both but em on diffrent sides of the scale and see if it goes down or up.if goes up put another ball on the up side and if the scale stays same the ball is hevier if does not stay same the ball is lighter.but if neither of the 4 balls weight diffrent then the 2 balls in the middle are either light or hevier and all you do is check with the extra ball on the up part.

scale 2 and 4, 3 and 5, and then 1 and 6. That means you've scaled everything. If one ball is lighter or heavier, it will show up in the scaling, because if you selected the odd ball and one of the normal balls, you would see a difference in the weight. If you selected two of the normal balls, there would be no difference on the scale. There you go.

that is quite easy u put three balls on each side of the scales then which ever is the lighter side of the scale u take those ball and get rid of the otheres, then u weigh two of the balls and by order of illimination u get the light ball

Scenarios 2+3: after weighing the 2 balls of group A, if you find they are equal then you know that the odd ball is in group B, if B was heavier than A than the odd ball is heavy if b was lighter than a then the odd ball is light. with this information you can simply weigh the 2 balls in pair B and be able to tell which ball is the odd one and if it lighter or heavier. i hope that covers everything, and sorry if the comments are out of order or something

lol it took me 27 seconds... while you needed 37 and you knew the solution and i just figured it out and 5 sec to move them?? COME ON Do you really timed it or just guessing how long you were solving it. I needed 10 seconds to move them while I know the solution and i was trying to do it fast so i will not believe in 5 or six seconds. And there is no other solution. You may start of corse from left or right but it will be just simetrical. There is no other valid solution.

theres another solution, he didnt say tht u had 2 move the small coin and the big coin to either the start or finish of the row. if u put them in the middle or inbetween coins u can solve it within seconds. i guess its kind of cheating tho

lol terrible video... after watching both videos, he does the exact same thing as the real creator, its just that he skips the necessity of hte 3rd move... think for a second... the first 3 moves are the exact same thing, and he does it 3 times to create the game without cheating... this guys 4 move version of the trick is garbage after move 1 when he doesnt put hte 2 coins at the end of the row but instead creates his own gap, fucking over the trick
