The hydrogen detaches easier than with water it seems (from experiments) but it does take up more room (less hydrogen per litre than water). So easier to obtain boom, but less fuel capacity. No you can't use household hydrogen peroxide to make a rocket =\ its like 3% if I remember right, you need at least 50%.
