pinaybeauty82... (Cont.) Also, my comment about the Anthropologists is .... I strongly believe that they value their ethics and will not consider any political agendas to do their job. And I believe that only those skeptics with political minds will try to taint the facts. Like what gptr002 said before, Facts are collections of all evidences from many sources and is not a work of only one person.
By: boyett5. on 14 Aug 08, 15:36:13
pinaybeauty82 .. I think you said this before and it was answered by gptr002 on his previous post. And also I posted something about the Taiwan natives. I wonder if you have read the responses to your question. (cont.)
By: gptr002. on 14 Aug 08, 11:22:53
omg....either you didn't read or you didn't undedrstand. The australian aboriginals, papua new guineans etc...are not austronesians. I don't know what they are, but they aren't Austtronesian. Austronesians are Asian descent. The average filipino is an entirely different race from the negrito...they just happen to live in the same land. Look more carefully :P all your questions are answered.
By: pinaybeauty82. on 14 Aug 08, 05:47:06
gptr002 my theory is those white dudes who came up with this theory have a hidden agenda behind it.first is to condition our mind that what they called austronesian is not related to the mainland asia such as china, india, etc. For political reason. If you want to move people to your direction the best way to do it is to group them!once you group people it is easier to manipulate them! they want to create a new geo political movement behind those grouping!
By: pinaybeauty82. on 14 Aug 08, 05:41:54
gptr002 the austronesian theory is just a theory!like what i said if you look at it closely there are more questions than answer.the aussie aborigen is closely related to a lot of tribe in papua new guinea, indonesia & im sure related to the aeta of the philippines! Why are they not included?
By: boyett5. on 13 Aug 08, 21:20:48
gptr002.. My question is not answered. Dravidians? Never heard of that. New to me?
By: Greggorriosmyname. on 13 Aug 08, 19:29:46
Why in the name of hell are you arguing about that??
By: gptr002. on 13 Aug 08, 17:57:02
ive got no clue about the australian aboriginals...i heard they might be related to dravidians or something. they might be related to negritos as well. but they aren't related to filipinos as far as i know.
By: boyett5. on 13 Aug 08, 17:02:20
gptr002.. Can I assume then that the aborigines came direct from Africa earlier in time?
By: gptr002. on 13 Aug 08, 16:08:16
pinaybeauty, i dont think you read up on austronesians...because all your doubts would be answered there. What exactly don't you understand? And what exactly is YOUR theory?
By: gptr002. on 13 Aug 08, 12:26:00
lol....the maori of New zealand are included as austronesians. THe australian aborigiansl are not austronesian. thats why they aren't included. the people who sailed from the philippines avoided australia and only settled on uninhabited islands.
By: boyett5. on 13 Aug 08, 09:02:37
oops!! Central America? Hmmm...I believe the early Indians also came from mainland asia. They travel north to Russia and then to Alaska....I'm just suggesting. I'm no expert in this.
By: boyett5. on 13 Aug 08, 08:54:05
(Cont.)pinaybeauty82.. ... Another thing is about the dialect you mentioned. don't you think the similarity of words are caused by trade in the south that happened in early modern history? As I mentioned on my previous post. I believe anthropologists never rely in one pattern of evidence.
By: boyett5. on 13 Aug 08, 08:49:40
pinaybeauty82.. Well I still think that there are many truth in the theory. I rather look at it as incomplete and need more evidences to complete the puzzle. Your first question about the aborigines, maoris and aetas may have a different explanation since they really look different.( cont.)
By: pinaybeauty82. on 13 Aug 08, 05:56:49
boyett5 2nd thought:Do you know that some indian tribes in central america have similarities in their dialects to Philipines & Malay: Example:cebuano will say busog for full!in 1 indian tribe in peru they say putok!Which is close in meaning. close to tagalog & malay!that blow out a hole theory! My take is there is a hidden agenda in this theory!Mostly geo political! That means they want to create another group of people outside of mainland Asia! For what reason?Power maybe!Mark my word!
By: loopdiloop89. on 13 Aug 08, 05:52:06
thank you internet..
By: pinaybeauty82. on 13 Aug 08, 05:48:46
boyett5 yeah there are some truth about the austronesian theory but it does have a lot of flasehood.1st:Why didnt they include the aborigen in the land of OZ & the Maori in New Zealand? no to upset our Aussie & Kiwi friends? They are obviously related to indonesian, papua new guinea & aeta/nomads in the philipines!2: As ive mentioned the dialects of tausog & badjau is closer to indian dialects! that blow a hole in that theory! Someone didnt do their homework!Dont take it as truth!
By: boyett5. on 13 Aug 08, 04:16:41
pinaybeauty82.. Your point about the tausog, badjau & others in the south may be true. But still, The fact remains that the austronesian culture is the one that spread to northern Philippines and thru out the pacific. My question is What you think is the right theory?

gmmahoney and gptr002 are u guys/gals filipinos? SO much knowledge of this subject matter , but it's good !
By: boyett5. on 12 Aug 08, 22:40:21
oops...I forgot one of the most important. They also follow how the language evolved.
By: boyett5. on 12 Aug 08, 22:37:05
As a layman in this subject, I also believe that the anthropologists do not just depend in one single pattern of evidence. I believe they look for many different type of evidences from artifacts, culture, DNA, traditions, spirituality, different practices, even some legends and living practices. etc.
By: boyett5. on 12 Aug 08, 22:25:48
gmmahoney...... with all respect to you... I would believe that the anthropologists are aware of those things that you mentioned.
