The game is a fucking con. The AI beats you by dropping the right gems it needs to get to get extra turns from top of the board and when there are alot of skulls on board having extra turns does some serious damage. Difficulty is set by how often the AI convieniently slots in the right gems at the top. HATE THIS GAME.

Can anyone work out what gems come on to the board from the top when you get rid of the lower gems? Is it random? Because its annoying when the AI gets just the right gems at the right time it needs to knock off some serious points from my character.

Not sure the PSP is missing much, not having the touch screen. All the options and the gems you would select are close together anyway that it becomes easier just using the directional buttons rather than a stylus.

Games that don't take advantage of the touch screen, microphone, two screens, and/or download play features of the DS are usually better on the PSP. (Simply because they were most likely designed for some other system in the first place.) The more of those features the game takes effectively advantage of, the better the DS version is than the PSP one. (Maybe not graphic-wise, though.)

Seems better actually. I like that they chose to make a mixed cast of american and japanese characters, something Ive been wanting for a long time. Much improved overall. I'd love to see Project Siren make a Siren 3 on this engine. Its a bitter rough, but lightning is fucking great everything else just needs some tweaking.

It's just over the top and annoying to listen to, simple as that. You're not going to convince me it isn't so just drop it. I never said anything about it being focused on the USA. Read carefully before putting words into people's mouths. The Grudge movies kept the setting in Japan as well but that didn't make them good. I'll admit upon my second run through the original game, the responses of the old characters are weak but going to the opposite extreme doesn't exactly solve the problem.

here's a tip : at 1:24 when kakashi kicks you at the end of the combo .. keep rapidly smashing the X button, that way you will perform a backflip and get on your feet immediatley, therefore recovering faster from the attack. Likewise, when you are getting beaten while you and your opponent are in mid-air, keep smashing X you will do another backflip and revert to your feet. This method can be used nearly anytime when you are launched into the air. (universal launcher) Hope i helped :D

Even though this is a bonus for this game the graphics do look bad. Playing the force unleashed for psp, graphics are spot on but these sort of mini extra battles have ugly graphics.

Is there really much point in having so many cars on the track, unless you just want to start from the rear and see how many cars you can overtake in a few minutes. I'll bet those cars just get in each other's way. They should have had a limit of eight cars or maybe just three really good opponent cars. Serious cars that try to shove you off the track or block you to death.
