are you that big a fool? really?
By: chrisehogan. on 06 Jan 09, 04:50:07
Thanks to the obscene amount of money that these "Christians" poured into prop 8, they succeeded in stripping away over 1000 rights and protections from these people. Why are they pouring salt in their wounds? Is this what Jesus would do?
By: Arodinme6. on 06 Jan 09, 00:21:52
Well, their religion is why gays have been killed for over a millenium, including, burnings, rape, and the Holocaust. Getting moved from the Castro couldn't have been that bad, in comparison.

scarebear. Ask Matthew Shepard's family and friends. You've got a double standard.
By: scarebear83. on 05 Jan 09, 20:12:32
um is it me or is it actually the gay protestors the ones using such foul language and hate? I don't see anyone going after the male couple who seems to be walking with their arms around one another's waist. So where is the hate on the part of the christians?
By: rasaxSF. on 05 Jan 09, 03:13:22
wish I was there to help escort the trash out of the Castro.
By: loudnmouthy. on 04 Jan 09, 06:51:48
You're arguing to incidents which a the person in question might well agree they were sins and repent of them. This just proves my point that christians do on occasion curse, threaten, and assault people.
By: loudnmouthy. on 04 Jan 09, 06:32:40
I'm sure thier are many muslims who believe that no true muslim would fly a plane into a skyscraper.

"So you're claiming the ability to identify who's regenerate and who's not? You can see apostates." No.I'm claiming an ability to identify behaviors that violate the moral standards of your religion.

"Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him." 1John3:6 Yet God knows the hearts of those who are His own. The wheat and the tares grow together. Matt13:30. Therefore, I can attend the same church for many years myself and not know for sure who is truly regenerate and who isn't. God only knows. Therefore, examine yourself (1Cor11:27-28 2Cor13:5) and test yourself to see that you are truly saved to begin with. This is the doctrine of sanctification.

Loud, I have argued at length with people claiming to be Christians that also claim a special licence to sin. Are they still Christians because they simply wear the label? Show me a Christian who actively & continually hates, curses others, and threatens, and I will show you someone with a faulty understanding of the faith they claim to have. Such behavior is corrected at the outset by someone who is truly seeking God's guidance.

Loud:[The potential for hatred and misbehavior is universal and no person is exempt, regardless of thier claims to the contrary.] See 1John3:9-11. I'm arguing against a continuous drive to hate. You're arguing to incidents which the person in question might well agree they were sins and repent of them. This also does not mar the code, standard, or previous determination of specific behaviors as stated earlier. Therefore, the fallacy does not apply.

Loud:[I don't lose.I know from my own observations that "true" christians are no less inclined to curse, threaten or assault people, than are atheists, jews, buddhists,or any other group of people for that matter.] So you're claiming an ability to identify who's regenerate and who's not? You can see apostates?
By: loudnmouthy. on 03 Jan 09, 06:16:08
I don't lose.I know from my own observations that "true" christians are no less inclined to curse, threaten or assault people, than are atheists, jews, buddhists,or any other group of people for that matter. On another thread I read a comment from a christian who claimed that it is not possible for a christian to hate. The potential for hatred and misbehavior is universal and no person is exempt, regardless of thier claims to the contrary. The facts of reality(the ultimate authority)prove it.

Loud:["A true christian may be very outspoken at times but will almost never [curse],threaten,or assault people" No true Scotsman does those things either.] LOL, clev-er! Because there is no such thing as a "code of the true Scotsman." Per wiki: Errors in usage In situations where the subject's status is previously determined by specific behaviors, the fallacy does not apply. You lose. Try again later.

tinyurl[dot]com/7msn4s Victor has nothing to even support what he calls "the truth." Inductive reasoning is not the ends, but rather the means. You've still got a ways to go, pal.
By: loko562. on 03 Jan 09, 00:03:50
What's up with them faggots?
By: Oophorectomy. on 03 Jan 09, 00:02:06
Victor:[lol.. the trial and the truth are two different things. if u are forming ur opinion on a trial then u have been lied to.] Then you are arguing that "the truth" is somewhere outside of the legal system. In which case I can accuse you of claiming to be above the law. Yet all you do is depend on your arguments to speculation. I would go so far as to say you're arguing for gay nationalism.

By: Oophorectomy. on 02 Jan 09, 23:43:29
Another example of Victor's ideological eisegesis is the claim that the Moscone-Milk assassinations were committed according to a gay vs. straight motive. Yet the exegetical analysis of the actual trial states otherwise. Therefore, Victor has been lied to, and is also perpetuating that lie.
By: Oophorectomy. on 02 Jan 09, 23:29:38
Victor:[bapist now have an official interpretation.] Cite plz. I'm not just going to take your word for it. Victor:[as u might have noticed people hear a lot of different voices coming out from the scriptures.] You're arguing to eisegetical versus exegetical interpretation of a document. This applies to all books and this is where you fail. You yourself stated that there is only one right way to read a document. This is exegesis. You're arguing to the polar opposite in every case.
By: Oophorectomy. on 02 Jan 09, 23:26:54
Victor:[u see that is not my opinion but from Dr. Rick McClatchy and Dr. Bruce Prescott.] Which is an argument to authority on your part. Victor:[I idea that everyone can interpret the bible is an open door to errors on a massive scale.] Not when it is taken in context. Victor:[that is why it is nolonger endorsed.] Maybe according to your cherry-picked authorities.
By: victor2cutube. on 02 Jan 09, 23:24:05
