Wasn't saying he was better than Albert King, man. YouTube's comments system is just kinda retarded and doesn't tell you when a comment is a reply to another one.

I don't mean better than Albert King, by the way, before someone jumps on my comment. This is a great song, might I add.

people that debate the issue just havent done the research. go read some interviews.eric ,jimi , SRV the list goes on and on they all atribute albert as A major(no pun intended) influence. i once read a guitar player mag. interview with SRV where they ask him some question about music theory , what he would do in some specific modal key blah blah. his response "i just think 'what would albert king play' & thats what i do.I'm not saying all those that came after weren't great.but albert- KING

I dont think Jimi is THE best guitarist of all time. He may have been the most techniqly gifted but wether he was the best; I dont think so. Its not like he was the first guitarist and set a example for all other guitarists out there, he looked up to the likes of Robert Johnson; the man who sold his soul to the devil. And even though jimi was a better guitarist than Robert without Robert's influence over blues, jimi would be just another avrage guitarist. And even so, theres no Fact of whos best

Jimi is among the best, but it was Albert King who he idolised and was influenced heavily by. Same with Clapton, Vaughan, Green. Loads of great players got their style through Albert King, plus I think he's one of the best singers. Awesome voice!
By: cannabiod. on 28 Dec 08, 22:05:24
i agree that jimi is the number one guitar god. it's a fact.
By: fezzappa. on 24 Dec 08, 22:32:39
grgr...i am acting ridiculious? nobody can tangibly porove any musician is better than any other- you are the fool and anyone who knows music knows you cant prove who is best- grow up
By: grga888. on 24 Dec 08, 21:08:08
Hahahaha... You are acting so ridicolous and so stupid. Hendrix is the best ever, a fact, and you gotta learn to accept it, like it or not.
By: supromanz. on 21 Dec 08, 08:29:32
In my opinion, Albert was, is and will always be the guitar player all the wanna be's wanna be.
By: johanthepirate. on 21 Dec 08, 05:03:19
Heh, fact.
By: irtimed. on 20 Dec 08, 02:40:05
i agree with frezzappa 100%. I also hate the term "Guitar God"
By: irtimed. on 20 Dec 08, 02:38:52

By: fezzappa. on 17 Dec 08, 23:01:29
grga888- i am not going to debate something, that you cannot possibly prove- i love jimi- but there is no greatest..maybe jimi is the greatest for you- but to say it is a fact,is quite ridiculous-
By: grga888. on 17 Dec 08, 22:12:09
It's a fact. Jimi Hendrix is the best electric guitar player of all times, like it or not.
By: ranjanchadha. on 16 Dec 08, 14:25:16
yeah man fezzappa you said it... true music flows out of a person ih a almost egoless state of mind...like when the instrument, the player and the played are or at least appear to be a UNITY...and many have achieved that state..all o them are called great..with none being the greatest..all being ONE of the best...dig it??? cheers this guy here too reached that height n he is great too...
By: scottyguy92. on 16 Dec 08, 02:49:25

By: NirvanaLord. on 13 Dec 08, 06:46:30

By: 1Smilingsteven. on 11 Dec 08, 02:56:13
Great Player. Saw him in 76,83,89 and at his last show in Orange County in 1990. Albert would say "you know I invented Blues Power." And if you saw him live you would say Yepp..thats Mighty Powerfull playing
