By: Yimbie. on 05 Jan 09, 02:38:01 unfortunately, artistry isn't important under the new system. it's all about technical difficulty and how well you can pull them off. michelle will really HAVE to incorporate triple-triple combinations to compete with Yuna Kim and Mao Asada (2 skaters who accomplish that task quite easily) and also just have more difficult spins and and footwork. she will have a lot going against her, primarily age and lack of experience but it'll be truly amazing if she could pull off a gold or even a medal. wonderful!! i love ... She does the axel take-off and lands precisely on the last note. It's simply perfect and provides such a structural moment in the choreography by really marking the end of the first section. No one does like my Michelle! I also just love how she goes right up into that axel from the flip, so smoothly and effortlessly. Ah, heaven! Has she retired?
