Personally I think this song is one of the best ever. I play guitar so I can appreciate this and it is a huge blessing just to hear this. I love the flow of this song. It's so relaxing.Especially at 2:13

He made me cry cause of his music,but it's very soothing actually i can go to sleep with this music. About his disease it sort of teaches us a lesson as in ''Don't Give up'' and such. Good Stuff.

Hey thx for answer. Hell no, I'm not tabbing...too much work. Just trying to play it for myself, for my own enjoyment. I think the tuning's DADGAD but if that's the case I'm still mystified by certain phrases. !!

It's a slap harmonic. You slap (lightly) and hit on the frets where harmonics (nodes) are located and it rings at a higher frequency. By the way, are you tabbing this or something?

God this song is amazing. The first time I listend to this song, I thought, this song is incredible, why in the hell have I not heard of this before and why havent so many others. And another thing I thought was, anyone that likes ANY type of music will look to this song and find beauty. And to top it off this man plays guitar like a god. Amazing.

Billy McLaughlin along with Stanley Jordan were progably the first guitarist I heard that were really doing things with alternate guitar tuning. Yeah they're great. If you like Billy I think you'll also like Don Ross too. He does some very interesting things also. Thanks for this post.

I remember the first time I heard this. I nearly fell off the couch..I was like WHO IS THIS AND WHAT IS THIS!!!!! Have loved his music ever since...totally, totally AWESOME! This guy should be an inspiration to anyone.. he's amazing!! Learning to play "backwards" Wow oh wow! you rule Billy! LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU!
