I agree. "Let's see how far we've come" I believe it means look back at what you've accomplished and enjoy it. The lyrics says that the world's coming to the end, but it also says, "Lets see how far we've come" But only the writer knows what the song means.

even as a christian, i squirm uncomfortably when people point to the bible and say 'see! it's proof! the world is ending!' or use the words 'judgment day' (unless, of course, they're talking about the terminator movie..har har.) i think there's a lot of stuff in the bible that needs to be taken with a grain of salt. does saying that make me a bad christian? maybe. but that's between me and God. all that being said, i really love this song and the video.
