I was (and still am) an Oilers fan and even I have to admit that during the height of the rivalry, Hunter was a far better fighter than anyone the Oilers had. And I'm talking about the 80's, which was before Dave Brown came out west.

Tim will never be remembered as one of the greats but he was very good. A tough local Calgary boy w/ great cardio & incredible natural strength. McSorley was an asshole then. You can see him looking down for his stick to bash Timmy ala' Donald Brashear. Tim got tuned by Maguire but at least he had class to skate off with dignity. McSorley, Semenko, Jackson, Messier, McClelland, and, any other Oiler-ahole you might want to name will(if they are honest)admit that Timmy was goodat his job.
