I Dont Think That Kurds have The Irano-Arabic Belly Dance at all! They have handholding Indo-europian Dances.
By: Naraku111. on 27 Nov 08, 00:35:34
kurds have never said are langauge is diffrent from the persians as i said before the only kurds who say that are the kurds who reply to the persians whom say that our langauges are the exact same ;) and kurmanji dont only live in turkey

With that being said, Iran did a lot for the Kurds during that time. But I agree 100% that they should have done a whole lot more. They should have approached the whole Iraq thing from the north in favor of the Kurds. It comes down to Islam, anything Islamic always tends to be anti-Iranian in some way.
By: NimaSun. on 26 Nov 08, 17:32:32
Some countries likes Russia were selling weapons to both sides, but overall favored Iraq's victory over Iran. Khomeinei chose to focus more on the Shia south Iraq, however he had more than a few advisers that advised him to focus more on the Kurdish north. But unfortunately, Khomeini being Muslim went his own path with regards to the politics.

During the Iran-Iraq war, the most powerfull countries on this planet backed up Iraq, and many other countries, I dont know if Russia supported Iran, if so they were probably the only one. You probably know it better than me. Anyway, my point is that when this war was going on, the rest of the world supported Iraq, did it stop us the Kurds from South to join our brothers from Iran against Iraq and the rest of the world? Iran stabbed us at the end as usual. Why dont you reply my friend?
By: donthakiller. on 26 Nov 08, 16:15:22
Kurmanji= To chend sali Sorani= Ato chan sali hmmmm, does this mean Badini Kurds in Iraq and Kurmanji Kurds in Turkey are closer to Persians, since our way of saying how old are you are closer to Persian than Sorani are to Persian? Of course it is just 3 words, I am sure in general Persian and Sorani are closer than Persian and Kurmanji/Badini.
By: donthakiller. on 26 Nov 08, 16:10:24
there are many dialects of Kurdish and almost everyone say that a bit different. Zazaki, don't say that at all if I am not wrong. Badini/Kurmanji= To chend sali Sorani= Ato chand Sali
By: Naraku111. on 26 Nov 08, 00:48:31
te chan saleh is similar to persian only because i am a kurd from iran meaning my langauge will be similar to yours while kurds living in iraq and turkey will not ;) our langauge is some what similar but when persians say its the same most over exhaturate and say "It is the same" meaning every word is exactly the same which is false :D
By: NimaSun. on 26 Nov 08, 00:46:07
lol and the Kurds from Turkey and Iraq say Persian and Kurdish are completely different. Kurdish: te chan saleh Persian: to chand saleteh lol!
By: Naraku111. on 26 Nov 08, 00:45:14
i know and i undrestand (as i am from south east kurdistan= north iran) but not all persians love kurds and most say they love us but when we speak of our autonomy they suddenly turn their backs against us and tell us its the wrong thing (even though every one knows its the right thing)
By: NimaSun. on 26 Nov 08, 00:44:42
Also, Cyrus the Great was half Median (from his mother's side), anyone who denies it doesn't know history, but you have to admit that there are many ignorant Iraq/Turki Kurds on youtube. More so than "Persians".
By: NimaSun. on 26 Nov 08, 00:43:38
The Iranian government doesn't treat the Kurds any different. They will kill ANYONE who stands up against them and they will mistreat ANYONE who isn't Shia. The Iranian people love Kurds, trust me, its the ultimate truth. Those "Persians" that call the Kurds (from Iraq and Turkey) gypsies are only replying to those Kurds that are calling Iranians much worst names.
By: Naraku111. on 25 Nov 08, 22:43:51
mostly true but most persians come on youtube calling kurds "gypsies" and when it comes to facts like cyrus being half mede and half persian they denie it and move on its pathethic and no one from north kurdistan is brainwashed PKK doesnt go around telling lies Kurds realise how the iranian GOVERMENT treats the kurds and assume the the iranian PEOPLE follow their goverment and blevie in the same things and ofcource this is not entirly true(some do follow though)i am from southeast kurdistan
By: Naraku111. on 25 Nov 08, 22:38:56
well wher eim from we would say "te chan saleh" but if you want to say it so that all kurds can undrestand say "ato chand saleh"
By: asdfg169. on 25 Nov 08, 19:29:26
Hello, how do you say "How old are you" in Kurdish languague... Thanks
By: donthakiller. on 23 Nov 08, 14:49:34
And lets try to have a mature discussion, you don't need to insult my intelligence by describing Kurds from "Turkey" and "Iraq" as IQ less, brainwashed, barbarian monkeys. As if we have nothing to do with our brothers and sisters from East.
By: donthakiller. on 23 Nov 08, 14:39:45
No! We Kurds in "Iraq" fought harder then Iran and the Kurds in Iran, but still we got stabbed in the back, as soon as Iran had the chance to do so.The only thing we need from Iran is they let us buy arms trough Iran, nothing else, we only need the weapons, the rest will our brave Peshmerge's take care of. Do Iran help us with this? No, and they probably never will.

I'm actually proud of Kurdistan's self rule in Iraq. They just refuse to go under Arab rule. But this Iranian hating thing is just wrong. The Islamic Regime is in power by force, they do have support but only from those ultra-Muslims who have no clue about their Iranian heritage. The Iranian majority are not fond of Mullahs (Akhund), and never have been, even during the time of the Shah the Akhund was seen as "kaseef". They stole the revolution after it was started by socialist intellectuals.
By: donthakiller. on 21 Nov 08, 21:11:27
You need to stop reffering to me as a Kurd from Turkey and Iraq, because I am from Kurdistan, Kurdistan only and no other place. I am not brainwashed, and even if they do get brainwashed in Northern Kurdistan I do not come from there. We from South can never be brainwashed, because we are ruled by a Kurdish government ;) I admit it is wrong to generalize all Persians, but you can not denie though that they have some support, or else how could they remain in power? Kord 4 life
By: NimaSun. on 21 Nov 08, 18:21:51
3 c) You (like most other Kurds from Turkey and Iraq) have been brainwashed with incorrect facts, by corrupt political groups (PKK, etc). What you see is the Iranian government, NOT Persians. Its as if I was to look at the Turkish government to get info on Kurds. Would that not be stupid? It would.. so why do you do it?
By: NimaSun. on 21 Nov 08, 18:21:06
3 b) Well, the Kurds were as much influenced by the Arabs as Persians, look at the Kurdish headgear, its proper Arabic. Whereas the Lori (True Persians) headgear? Its the exact copy of the headgear the ancient Medes used to wear. There are plenty pictures of ancient carvings on the internet, just Google "Mede Persepolis". Again your reciting incorrect facts that have been passed on to you by your corrupt political groups to make you hate Iran.
