Oh yeah Iraq is now "free"... Though... can ballot papers build houses? Can an election resurrect the dead? Can democracy turn back time? No, but democracy still try to pretend nothing happened
By: sleepingdragon76. on 03 Nov 08, 09:47:55
Of course it's about economics and politics. I am not going to disagree with you there. Do they have legitimate claim? Well that's debatable. Every government makes decision for economic gains. Just like the decision to invade Iraq was an economic one and had nothing to do with freeing the Iraqi people as was claim. I don't agree with a lot of thing the Chinese government does. However at the same time all the negativity from the west towards that country isn't always warranted.

You love to claim "internal Chinese affairs" about Human Righst in China. I can say the same in this matter. Just admit China took over tibet for economic and political reasons.
By: luigisilverio. on 01 Nov 08, 14:30:35
No. people's concern asbout Tibet has nothing to do with governments hipocrisy. In West we can fight for justice without beeing impriosioned, tortured or shoot. But the guys in the Politics are the same shit as yours, you are right.
By: luigisilverio. on 01 Nov 08, 14:27:19
Saddam was a great guy. Don't compare Iraq with Tibet. Bush's invasion was a disaster but Iraq remains a free countryy.
By: sleepingdragon76. on 01 Nov 08, 06:32:04
As for the war in Iraq, the US invasion has killed hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians as well wasting thousands of lives of its own soldiers. The CIA has admitted there WAS no link between Saddam's regime and Bin Laden. They have NOT found ANY WMD's and so basically LIE to the world and invaded another country illegally to plunder it's resources. That's one of the great crimes of the modern times that people just sweep under the carpet.

Did you hear the US government is considering lifting sanctions against Cuba, now that Cuba has struck oil. What a bunch of hypocrites. Cuba is evil blah blah. Find oil, now oh why can't we just all get along and be friends. LOL. Do you know why Darfur is such an issue for the western governments when Somalia isn't even though the situation in Somalia is probably worse? Let me give you a hint. OIL! All about the black gold bro and how Uncle Sam wants its share in the pie.
By: sleepingdragon76. on 01 Nov 08, 06:14:15
The notion that western governments care about human rights of ethnic minority people are just laughable. Just look at the way minority people are treated in their own countries. Western government ONLY cares about the rights of ethnic minorities in other countries when there are BENEFITS for them to do so. I doubt that they will give a f u c k about ordinary Tibetans if Tibetans aren't a useful propaganda tool for them to contain China. At the end of the day that's what it's all about.
By: sleepingdragon76. on 01 Nov 08, 06:09:12
What a great world that we live in. A former head of a feudal serfdom state lives in luxary in his Potala Palace while his people live poverty just outside gets given the Noble Peace prize just because he is a useful propaganda tool to western nations. Isn't that just lovely.

By: luigisilverio. on 30 Oct 08, 16:27:26
the free world has the right to deffense himself od terrorism. you are to coward to attack us face to face, so you pay terrorists to do it. you only attack helpless peacefull people as Tibetans. Dalai Lama is nobel prize of Peace, by the way.
By: luigisilverio. on 30 Oct 08, 16:20:28
requesting proofs of genocide in Tibet is like requesting proof of Holocaust in Germany. you have tons os testimonials, International Amnesty repoorts, books. I don't doubt communists are allways willing to conquest the free world. that's what you did in Tibet and want to do in Taiwan and wherever you can...
